> 3 dayI ordered the 12x36 .062 thick sheet for making gaskets for my drum lugs. Its a Mapex Venus series with 4 rack toms, 1 floor tom, and a bass drum. 3 out of the 4 Toms have 6 lugs.. the other has 4 lugs and the bass drum has 8 (on each side) I needed to be able to make a total of 72 gaskets which Im pretty sure will be easy to do given how small my lugs are and how much I ordered... I also made a gasket real quick to post how great the quality is of this rubber sheet. The thickness is perfect and its easy to cut. Ive made a little jig for the lugs so I can have even cuts just so no metal is contacting the wood... just the rubber. Same goes for making little washers. I have a circular punch tube that will assist in making those. The lug and leg gaskets will be cut using my jig and exacto knife.

> 3 dayI got this neoprene to make to make a door sweep and keep out the cold air. It works fine but it stinks. As an engineer, I have used a large variety of elastomers but cannot remember one smelling this strongly. It is not too bad at the bottom of the door but I notice the extra piece when I walk by the shelf in the garage.

> 3 dayI mounted a shoe brush to clean of shoes onto a 28 x 24 x 1 board for outside the house. The board would slip while cleaning it. I cut the rubber into strips and glued it to the board. once you have your weight on the board, its not moving. I thought it to be a little pricey, but would purchase again for similar projects.

> 3 dayUsed to make wind flap in my dogs dog house. Works great. Supple and flexible, hangs nice and straight. Seems very durable. I also ordered custom cut rubber strips to put between ladder rack and my pickup bed rails. Product came cut exactly right, and the cuts were perfectly straight. I used slightly thicker rubber for the bed rails than I did for the dog house. I will do business again. People complain about the odor. It just smells like a tire shop. But once it airs out for a day or two, the smell is gone. Not sure what all the fuss is about.

> 3 dayAlmost gave it 5 stars. Then almost gave it 4. Although the rubber feels very strong and durable,....... .. the smell is truly the worst scent I have ever smelled on a piece of rubber. I honestly have to keep it outside because it is impregnating my entire living room airspace and it smells so toxic . Maybe it will de-scent in time.

> 3 dayI bought this rubber to place under a pair of wide nylon straps that holds down a 500-gallon propane tank to a 3,000-pound foundation, in earthquake country. The tank owner did not want the feet bolted to the concrete and the rubber keeps the straps from scratching the paint on the tank. Sometimes, you gotta please everyone.
