> 3 dayI used this to close the gap between the top of my shop door and the frame. Closed it up nicely and doesn’t leave any marks on my door.

Greater than one weekI repainted weight racks and wanted to protect the area the weights rest on. I needed 6 foot strips, ranging from 2 to 4 wide - it was most cost effective to buy the large roll and cut the strips I needed. The rubber did have a smell, but it always will at first and then goes away eventually. The roll measured just over the size I ordered (both length and width) and the edges were cut straight. I marked with a pen (and could see the line) and cut with a razor blade (my cuts were straight enough). I scuffed the painted surface then cleaned it and the rubber strips with rubbing alcohol. Youll need plenty of ventilation and a mask when using Contact Cement (I used Dap Weldwood). Just brushed it onto both surfaces, waited about 20 mins, and then laid the rubber strips on the rack. The 6 ft long strip were flimsy, so two people were needed to lay it, we tried not to stretch it but every strip we laid had to have the end length trimmed again (maybe 1/4 in to 1/2 in - which we cut off with a scissors). It was not instant contact, we could pick it up again and reset it - and the final contact stayed firm. We put the weights on right away (5 lbs through 120 lbs) and it looks good and I expect it to be durable.

> 3 dayI bought this rubber to place under a pair of wide nylon straps that holds down a 500-gallon propane tank to a 3,000-pound foundation, in earthquake country. The tank owner did not want the feet bolted to the concrete and the rubber keeps the straps from scratching the paint on the tank. Sometimes, you gotta please everyone.

> 3 dayPurchased so that I could use in an area where a drip irrigation line ran. Put the mat on top of the irrigation line, then placed the small rocks on top of that. This area is right where dog runs thru and this eliminated the displacement of the rocks which would expose the irrigation tubing. The mat is thin enough to do the job without squashing the tubing. Problem solved.

Greater than one weekThis worked great for what we used it for. We were remodeling our kitchen and made cement counter tops but the edges where my stove sat were rough and I didnt want to scratch up the finish on the stove so we super glued this to the edges of the counter top and we had to put a little oil on them because it made a very tight fit for the stove but a little baby oil and we got the stove in safe and sound and there is no gap for dirt or crumbs to get down in there. I get creative when we do our own remodeling. :)

> 3 dayPurchased this based on YouTube recommendations for helping protect certain spots on my Zhiyun Crane where the arms would hit each other after balancing the system. Good: No strong odor. Cut easily. Black color went perfect with the black finish of the Crane. 1/16 was a good thickness. Flexible depending on the size you cut it. Meh: I needed small bits that didnt bend AS well as I would have liked, but I realize this is simply the physical properties of something thats 1/16 thickness and is trying to be contorted 90° to something. Im not faulting it for that but just an advisory to those who are looking that you may want to find slightly thinner matting depending on the angles you need to wrap it around. I also used gaffers tape to hold it in place and so far everything has done its job.

> 3 dayI mean, its a rubber sheet, what are you expecting? Its solid neoprene rubber, its not a foam rubber, nitrile or silicone so dont get it for those applications. It has a strong odor as rubber will. Set it out to air out and itll be fine. No leeching of chemicals.

> 3 dayThis is what I was looking for to line my dumbell rack. I did notice that one of the sides is not cut completely straight, but that didn’t make any difference for my purposes. It’s a nice product and it did come with a little bit of a rubber smell which wasn’t a big deal for me. I included some pictures.

> 3 dayIt did what i needed it to. Its been a few weeks since install and no issues. I used this to seal the mid section of an RV toilet (not recommended by the manufacturer) or if you are easily grossed out. So far it saved me $200+ for a new toilet.
