Buy a ballon pump! Took me 2 hours to pump, tie the balloons. Next day I set up the garland and glue every little balloon on the big ones. I used all balloons provided, only 2-3 popped. The colors are NOT exact like the stock, but beautiful as well.

This product can be a little frustrating to assemble, especially if you were mostly doing it alone like I was. With that being said it is still a great value and beautiful so I think it deserves 5 stars. I didnt even use all the balloons and I think it turned out pretty good, I only used the strip with the holes to hold the balloons... did not glue more balloons to the balloons that went in the holes to fatten the tail up or add the star balloons... thats why mine is so thin. You can be creative with it and if you have more time to work on it you can really make it beautiful! Id buy another one but Id probably set it up the day before the party or start earlier because it can be a little time consuming. It stayed up for a week!

It took just over an hour from start to finish (2 of us) we hand a hand balloon pump. I was overwhelmed at first but it was actually way way easier than I had thought it would be.

Really cute but mines was missing the actual plastic that has holes to make the mermaid was so disappointed had to use balloons by themselves as bunches and was too late for a return

After reading the reviews and seeing the price, I decided I would try this out for my sister’s mermaid themed party. I personally think the assembly was fun but keeping it held up was the most difficult part for us since the arch can’t be held up with just tape or the glue stickers that come with the kit. We ended using twine to help hold it up and a chair to hold one end up. In total, it took us about 2-3 hours to set up. This may sound daunting but it actually went by quickly since we were talking and listening to music. We had one person blow up the balloons with a handheld balloon pump (highly recommended, you will get tired if you try to blow this up on your own) and one person arrange the balloons. We alternated putting balloons on each side of the garland. If you blow up the balloons too big, don’t worry. You can add in a smaller sized balloon to fill in the space. Overall it was a great first experience building a balloon arch and it got lots of compliments! I would definitely purchase this again if I ever help with another mermaid themed party :)

Horrible smell. From the time you unzip the bag until the balloon has sat blown up for a while. (Sucks for anyone who has to blow them up by mouth)

It took a few people to put this together. There were not any actual directions to put it together. We ended up tacking the balloon connector plastic rope thing to the wall after (loosely) to the wall in the shape we wanted with the tail attached at the end and then added the balloons to it. The balloon tape was a little bit of a pain but worked good enough. I strongly recommend purchasing a extra bag of matching balloons because some will pop after it is put together. We put it up the day before and about 5 balloons did pop and we just replaced with the extra ones and used to balloon tape. I would buy this again for another party for sure!

Love the colors and how easy it was to set up. Definitely recommend getting a pump to blow up all the balloons
