> 3 dayI love this guy, I wanted something easy to find, something that wouldnt take up room, something I could put in my bag and take out when needed to be mobile and stay dry this fits perfectly on the side pocket of my bag and even comes with a case in case its wet you dont have to worry about putting it back in your bag wet, really well thought out. Highly Recommended.

> 3 dayThis is a mini umbrella that has to be seen to be believed. This manages to combine both high quality construction with almost surreal size to produce an outstanding miniature umbrella. I have installed it as part of my book bag kit, since it is great to have such a tiny umbrella taking up such a small space. And when I say space, I mean the size of the collapsed umbrella, not the size of the opened umbrella. It is actually a pretty large umbrella once opened. It is not a perfect umbrella, however. Having lived in Chicago from 1981 to 2013, Im very conscious about whether or not an umbrella has a wind slot. While I love this umbrella, if I were to try to use it in Chicago or Cleveland or New York or any of Americas windier cities, it would die on the spot, because the construction has no way to accommodate especially powerful winds. I now live in Little Rock, Arkansas, which is not a particularly windy city, but if you live in a windy area, I cannot recommend this umbrella. It is great for less windy cities, but it wouldnt make it past a single use in Chicago. But now Im in Little Rock, and here it is an outstanding umbrella.

> 3 dayVery small and very light. Good for carrying in a handbag or backpack. Feel sturdy and looks well made. It is a small umbrella that is good for one person.

> 3 dayThis is a great little umbrella. I have several larger, automatic style umbrellas made by Umbrella and Ive been very pleased with the quality of the fabric as well as the opening/closing mechanism. I thought this one would be perfect for my daughter to keep in her backpack. We dont get much rain here (Southern California) and unfortunately even less in recent years, but we are coming up on the season rain is possible and it is pretty easy to be caught without an umbrella. This is small and very light, so it wont add too much weight and she will always have it handy if it happens to be needed... I ordered this umbrella in the royal blue and it is a very pretty, deep shade. It has a snug royal blue sheath with a drawstring closure and is tucked inside of a just slightly larger, black zipper bag. This bag not only holds the umbrella, it also unfolds into a larger shopping bag if needed (a very handy feature) plus it has an additional compartment on the outside (closed by an L-shaped zipper). I think this is a very well thought-out design. The umbrella opens to a surprisingly large diameter, plenty of protection for one person. It isnt an automatic open, so first the shaft needs to be manually extended until the runner engages. Once open, it feels very sturdy and has 6 supporting ribs to help prevent it from collapsing in the wind. When folded up, the tips of the ribs are enclosed by the round handle. There is a strap with a velcro attachment to secure it closed before inserting it into the sheath. The fabric feels durable and is the fast-dry type, so no hassles dealing with a dripping wet umbrella. It opens and closes easily although it does take a couple of minutes to wrap it up and get it back into the sheath, after using. Ive had inexpensive umbrellas that just dont hold up, and I think the price is very reasonable for this very well made umbrella that should last for years.

> 3 dayOk, I am superstitious. I would NOT test this out in the house, I went into the garage. For an adult, this works fine as all adults should know how to operate this type of umbrella. This is probably not the best for kids though as they may not be able to figure it out unless you show them and they may get confused/forget. It works fine, comes in a case and also a zippered bag too. I have the other version for my son with the push to open button and this one I am keeping for myself. These are extremely light weight and can be kept anywhere because of its small footprint. I cant say that it has kept me dry just yet, but I feel better knowing it is always available in the car door slot should I need it...

> 3 dayThis is a super-compact, lightweight umbrella. It comes with two covers -- one is the conventional umbrella cover, and then over that is a cover that coverts into a tote. This Rumbrella is sturdy and well made. It is NOT automatic, but easy to open and close. I have owned many umbrellas, in part, because I dont drive and so I rely on walking and public transport. Even if theres a tiny chance of rain, I bring an umbrella with me. I like to travel light, and I tend to use small umbrellas unless I know for sure that it will be windy and rainy (then I bring out the Big Handle umbrella). My usual compact umbrella is a Totes, which you can see on the left in the photo. It is less expensive, but it is less sturdy and a little smaller. It actually weighs about an ounce more than this Rumbrella one (approximately, based on my holding one in each hand and comparing). The other, stellar thing about this Rumbrella is UV protection. As a melanoma survivor (10+ years!), I avoid going outside during midday hours, April-Oct. But sometimes it cant be avoided, and I totally cover up with sunscreen, hat, etc. This Rumbrella will be an excellent added layer of protection. Again, I LOVE that it is so small and I can keep it in my bag just in case.

> 3 dayFirst time in use and wind broke one of the metal splines of the frame. If you require sturdiness, do not buy this umbrella.
