This pigtail is heavy duty and exactly what I needed to connect my A-frame camper to my house. If you don’t have one of these you should get one!

A prepared RVer will have a number of different electrical adapters should be in the toolbox. RVs are wired to accept a certain amperage, typically 50 or 30 amps. Smaller tow-able RVs (tiny trailers) may be wired for 15/20 amps. Each one has a different plug-in on the connector cables. All well and good, until you find yourself having to plug your RV into an electrical outlet different than that of your RV, which could happen for any number of reasons. For that, you need an adapter, the correct one for the situation.

I recently picked up a used RV and found the plug that came with it did not match my outdoor plug. I got this to use and it seems to work well.

During the winter, we like to keep our RV plugged in so that the house batteries stay charged and we can run a small heater to (mostly) keep it above freezing. Our RV has 50-amp inputs to allow us to run its multiple air conditioners. With the RVplan 50-amp female to 15-amp male adapter cord, we can plug our RV into it and then plug it into a wall socket. 15-amps is just perfect for what we need.

Just an adapter to hook our camper up to shore power here at the house before we install a 30amp at home. We dont run everything off of this, mainly just lights and the fridge while were getting the camper ready for a trip or cleaning it up when we get home. Has worked for us great so far.

This is a heavy duty adapter with a thick cable. It worked as expected right out of the box. Good quality cable with nice built-in handle to pull when unplugging the 30 amp side.

This is a high quality, heavy-duty adapter cord. The male and female ends tightly fit their respective receptacle & plug, and each end has a solid handle for connecting and disconnecting. This is a necessity for RV owners, as you can never be sure of the service availability at a campground; you may have only 30 amp, or only 50 amp. This is an inexpensive insurance policy to make sure youre prepared to power your coach with whatever is on hand.
