I was surprised at how sturdy this little guy is. No tipping or rocking back and forth! Adjustment of the slots is a little hard on the fly, but once you set it, you can forget it. Currently holds my laptop and my iPad. They’re both connected to a USB hub which helps me charge and use them on a real monitor.

My laptop and iPad do not fit in the slots.

This was way more solid and heavy duty than I expected. It’s solid metal and doesn’t move/tip over, this is a very good product and price

Very sturdy with adjustable width so your smaller or thicker laptops can still work. I have a lenovo and MacBook in mine and they have no issues with over heating or stability. The stand has weight to it also so a single laptop wont tip it over. Well worth your money if you want a vertical stand to save space.

This is a great way to store your laptop or tablet without taking up tons of space. I used this to store an iPad in a sound booth where there was limited space next to the sound board. Between the weight of the stand and the grip, it holds on to the desk really well and makes it easy to put the iPad in or take it out without moving the base. The slots are narrow enough that you dont have too much play side to side when the iPad is in the base which means the grip on the sides of the slots can do their job to keep the iPad from slipping. All that to say this stays in place and keeps whatever you stick in it in place well enough that I dont mind having it close to the edge - it isnt going anywhere. I do wish there was a way to store the Allen wrench for adjusting the slot width though. It wont be the end of the world if I lose the Allen wrench but a small groove in the bottom or a hole on the end to store the wrench would be fantastic. But given that I dont think Ill need to adjust this often and that it uses a standard tool, Im not too worried.

I have a thing for stands and go though a number of them, this one is made of a good solid metal block and is adjustable to fit older and new thin computers, but it still uses hex screws that need a tool to adjust and is not so easy to get the right sized slot with out a few attempts, the newer stands have tool less screws and are much easier to adjust, but if you dont mind having to do the extra steps, this is a solid stand once you have it dialed in.

So on one side the two screws were good and I was able to enlarge the part with the allen key. On the other side nothing to be done, the same key didnt work and at some point the screw head deteriorated.

I like the nice shiny finish. Its made from aluminum and feels very sturdy. Looks great in my cubicle.
