Wanted to upgrade my PS5 with an internal SSD but wasn’t keen on buying an SSD with a heatsink already attached as they were really expensive, I also didn’t feel confident in attaching my own heatsink to brand new SSD. I have upgraded my HDDs in past PlayStations & with this heatsink it made the PS5 the easiest of the lot

The heat sink replaces the cover, which places the sink in proximity to the internal fan. So far it works perfectly. I recommend to everyone

Great replacement heatsink option, especially for those that cant find proper sized heatsinks to match their SSD and for in their PS5 properly.
