SABRENT M.2 NVMe PS5 heatsink (SB-PSHS)

Had a dedicated heat sink for my M2 memory and decided to change it for the SABRENT. Well, it was really easy to install and it fits perfectly. I think its the right combination of passive heat dissipation as its built on aluminium and the “active” cooling coming from the air pulled from the PS5 fans. Recommended.

Was pricier than other heat sinks and bought based on good reviews. Arrived with paint damaged and does not fit properly into ps5. Bought two. Would not recommend.

Easy to install

Fast drive, i think ps5 calculated in the 6582.xxx MB/s read speed. I do have a heat sink but i only put the thermal pad on the top with the actual finned top piece. The bottom memory is just straight against the bottom of the heatsink which is just flat aluminum, so its probably a fraction better then nothing there on that side. Anyways, back to the review. The drive was an easy install into the PS5, the PS5 asks to format it, then will give you a drive speed, then you can start copying games from main console SSD to the expanded ssd drive. This copy was super fast, it was over within minutes, copying some of the latest games games over to the new drive. Which still leaves me with almost 3tb left, all my ps4 games on an external usb hard drive which is fine. Anyways, so far super reliable, quick load speeds, no problems.

I bought an ssd drive for my PS5 that didnt come with its own heatsink so I wanted to get one that would fit in the ps5 and be easy to install. Sure enough this was that. Hard no problem or trouble installing it and havent had any issues with my new ssd drive overheating yet.

Loved the entire concept behind this heatsink and cover since I first heard about it a few months ago and have been chomping at the bit for months to get one until the preorders on amazon finally went up in September!

Fits perfectly to cool down my 2tb PS5 M.2 SSD

I installed this in my PS5 (quick and easy process) and so far, am pleased with the results. The majority of my games are installed on the Sabrent now and I have not seen any problem with loading or performance.

Easy to install and Extremely Fast!

If you want the mostest fastest, and bestest drive out there. Then this is it. Sure the Samsung PRO line may have it beat in speeds and endurance, but that like taps out at 2TB. BUT that aint you, you a baller, you just dropped 15K on your sick gamer PC, so 2TB is pedestrian. Thats where Sabrent be like, Nah, son, we got you, we know what you be about, that hardcore pure uncut gamer life. Speed, storage, and looks. Storin all yo hardcore 3D anime WIFU games that you can purchase from STEAM and less reputable sites, on the interwebs. Sure it may only realistically last you for 2 years in the FLOPS department, but by that time, youre already onto your next baller PC.
