Greater than one weekIt put to rest the wifes concerns about some of our daughters toys. In my mind, that is well worth the price.

> 3 dayThe tester itself is fine, although I dont know for sure since there were was no informational insert included with it...I was a bit annoyed that there was no printed information included (i.e. official directions for proper use for determining safe/unsafe objects and for which ages??)...the product is kind of pointless unless you know for sure that you are using it correctly. I would imagine the throat of a 6 month old and the throat of a 3 year old are different sizes in diameter....so yea...information about the product and its proper use would have been nice!

> 3 dayLeaving a review since my wife mentioned how much she loves this. The reassurance to her that certain toys *are* okay makes her feel a lot better. ...but now Im buying lead-testing stuff for some of the other toys.

> 3 dayAfter a choking scare, we ordered one of these for each house our kids spend any time. While you have an idea what is too small this device takes the guessing out of it. We even have our 3 year old helping, she will get the device out to check if something is too small. Having a mix of children from newborn to 5 you need to go back through toys to make sure everyones toys are safe for the youngest kid in the home.

> 3 dayI use this product in a class I teach to demonstrate the importance of keeping small objects away from children and then I give them one to take home and test there play areas.

> 3 dayI purchased this to check my 17 month olds Playmobil, Lego Duplo, and Learning Resources play food sets. The item is solid plastic and has brief instructions printed on the side. We tested about 100 different items that day. It held up just fine. As for its accuracy, we havent had any accidents so far, and obviously use this tester with discretion and common sense. It would be better if the tester came with more detailed instructions on identifying choking hazards, like whether longer objects that fit within the diameter of the tube are considered choking hazards. Generally speaking, this is a pretty awesome tool to have around the house with kids under 3.

> 3 dayWouldnt a piece of PVC pipe with the same 1 1/4 dimensions work just the same?
