The piece that comes with the Bifold lock for thinner doors does not snap in place. It is to small (or I should say it is the same size as the base piece) therfore can not snap Because of the price, I gorrilla glued it to the outside of the piece and that worked. I tried using it with out the extra piece, but by wiggling the door continuously my cats were able to move the piece over and open the door. If it wouldnt have been for that one flaw this is a good product

I put these on our closet to keep our cat out and they work great. They just sit on top of each door and we slide them over when we want to open the closet. My husband was skeptical when I ordered them but he said they were a good idea once I put them on. Pleasantly surprised something so easy works so great.

The one thing that stands out about these closet door locks is that they are longer than any other one you will find. Most of the namebrand ones are very short only like four or 5 inches. Since these are much longer if a kid is sitting there wiggling the door that thing will not slide over like the little ones can do. It makes it much more sturdy lock for kids who are trying hard to get in the closet.

We got these to close off guest room closet doors with bi-fold doors, for our visit from our grandsons, aged 2 and 4. These door locks come 2 in a package, and are comprised of a clear plastic u-shaped piece that slips over the top of the doors. You slip it over one side of the bi-fold door when the door is opened, and then close the doors, and slide the plastic piece to the center of the doors. Beware! You have to remember that you put these on! I have tried to open the doors myself when they were locked, and they will not open, and they tend to jam closed. Just remember to reach up and slide the device to the side before you try to open your doors. They are clear plastic, so they are attractive and unobtrusive. They come with an extra piece of plastic, if your doors are very thin, but our doors were not thin, so we didnt use the extra piece. They also come with a handle, if you cant reach to the top of your doors, but I am 5 7 and am tall enough to reach the top of our doors, so we didnt use the handle, either. These are simple, easy to use, and very effective. They look exactly like the photo on Amazon. Just remember you have them when you want something in a locked closet!

I bought a set of these with low expectations to keep the cat from getting into the laundry room where he gets stuck behind the dryer. They fit and install easily with no tools and operation is great for day to day use. I have since ordered 3 more sets for the rest of the doors in the house.

This was very confusing when I received 2 (instead of one) products AND included pieces that were not shown in item pics so I was baffled how they are used. Some instructions would have been nice....at least a picture showing what was included and generally how they are used. Worked well enough though...

I got tired of shoving boxes or chairs against the bifold doors to keep them from popping open. Then I saw this on Amazon. Ordered it and slid it on top of each door. It works beautifully to keep doors closed. Only took me two decades to find the solution!!

Clear plastic is not noticeable: definitely strong enough to deter cats from opening bi fold doors (dog doesnt try)

I usually dont write reviews but had to for this product. It is literally the easiest install. And it works perfectly to lock doors in place so toddler cant open it. Highly recommend!
