> 24 hourIf there is any drawback, it might be the length of the plastic rod. My wife is barely 5 feet tall. She had a little difficulty reaching the rod. Someone shorter than her would have difficulty sliding the unit to the unlock position. A couple of additional inches would have been great. Other than that, it works great.

> 24 hourMy cat likes to push open my trifold closet doors, so this is a great solution to keep him out. It does give a little space for him to open it but not enough to get inside.

> 24 hourWe moved into a new house and I was storing the dog food in a closet with bi-fold doors. One of our dogs, who will remain anonymous, figured out how to bump the doors open, pull out the dog food container, open the container, and enjoy. These work great! Simple design. Easy to install on the doors. Easy to move back and forth to lock/unlock. Hardest part is remembering to lock when leaving!

> 24 hourI bought a set of these with low expectations to keep the cat from getting into the laundry room where he gets stuck behind the dryer. They fit and install easily with no tools and operation is great for day to day use. I have since ordered 3 more sets for the rest of the doors in the house.

> 24 hourI have multiple cats who love to get into places they are not supposed to. This is stopped them from getting into the utility area where the hotwater heater and such are.

> 24 hourThe stick part is cheap and looks terrible. Unless youre super short dont bother. I for the life of me cant figure out how the extender part in it fits on it so it fits more snuggly on the smaller doors like we have so its still a pinch hazard for the baby but it keeps the cats out. Mixed feelings about it but would buy again

> 24 hourMy 3 year old kept pushing her closet doors shut and pinching her fingers. These clever things have solved that problem and eliminated tears (or at least tears from pinched fingers)

> 24 hourI wish wed thought to search for these sooner!! Weve had a folding door to our basement since we moved to our current home, and it has been a constant battle with our cats to keep them from going down there. Weve had a heck of a time blocking the basement from our crawlspace, so the cats would constantly come back upstairs with crickets, spiderwebs, and they could hide there if they didnt feel like getting attention (made it rough taking them to the vet if they got sick). We had to have a stool planted in front of the door for several years to solve the issue. Now, we have a toddler who can MOVE the stool. Uh-oh. Enter this doodad. It is very simple but a perfect solution. No more blocking the way and making it a pain to go in and out -- this can very easily just slide over across the top of the door to allow us quick access from both sides. It is tight enough to prevent the door from opening widely enough that a cat could slip through. Only one side has the hanging attachment, which is something to be wary of. We have an immediate stair dropoff on one side, so thats where we put it, but I can still barely reach and use it on the side without modification (Im 53).

> 24 hourMy 2yo doesn’t pinch his fingers in our closet doors anymore or get into things he shouldn’t. These are awesome - just make sure you get the right size for your door width.
