Overall great pens, they run dry kind of quickly though. To be expected with this type of ink I think.

I am in nursing school and I have tried many different things to help with notes and concept maps etc. I started making my notes and concept maps on black paper, but my biggest issue was finding pens that would write and be bright enough on the paper. I have tried SEVERAL, spent lots of money trying different things and these pens are amazing!!! The are so bright and vibrant on the dark paper. All of my classmates admire my notes and complement how great they look. I have even bought extra packages because I am afraid I am going to run out of ink and not be able to find them. EXCELLENT PRODUCT! I am a pen person and the ink is so smooth and they are very writer friendly!

I love using these pens,the colors are very nice, but the pens do not always work. Is there a trick to get them started after they are not used for a few weeks? I am not happy with a product that randomly works. If I pay for all of the pens, I would hope they all work until the ink is no longer visible inside the barrel. I dont have time to call the company and ask for help. I just expect the product to work. This has happened with all of the different packs of pens I purchased from Sakura. The white are the worst.

Well, now I know why these pens get such great reviews. The gel ink flows effortlessly out of these pens and they really are broad point ( about 1.5mm I guestimate) and colors are distinct and vivid on dark and light backgrounds. They are crazy expensive and ink is only filled up to 2/3rds of ink stem, so 1 star removed for that. Worth it on sale not to have scratchy pens you have to struggle with. Wish the 25 color set came in broad point, but only available in fine point and not sure the flow would be as good on those. So far every brand of fine point gel pen I have tried is horribly scratchy..
