These pens are the usual Micron quality, work well and plenty of ink BUT be extra careful when using because the point can be easy damaged. Would still buy again, they work well for my ink work. Editing to add picture of difference in line weight with 003 and 005.

I have been using Sakura Micron pens for almost 50 years to make notes in my wide margin Bibles. The ink doesnt run. you can use a hi-liter over the ink without it smearing. It is the one pen you count on to deliver sharp focus letters or drawings. The Micron-005 ink pen is always my first choice for extra fine writing I write very small, and it is perfect for what I need. I use the Micron-01 when I want to make words stand out.

For; very fine point pen. I like the fact that it has permanent ink that doesn’t smudge once dry. Against; point has a tendency to get used up after extensive use. Point can break off if pressed too hard. When try to write continuously even for e short time, ink runs out and you find yourself trying to roll the pen to find another surface of the point that has ink to continue writing.

Fine lines and water proof. Writes well and small.

After waiting to finish a beautiful art piece of mine I had been patiently awaiting for these pens to arrive only to find out both packages had all dried up pens!!!
