> 3 dayIve used Micron pens before and loved them so I ordered some for the first time on Amazon. Im very disappointed, right out of the package, each of the pens were faulty, they seemed as if they were running out of ink. The nubs were also slightly damaged before I even used them. I would suggest just buying these at Michaels, not on Amazon.

> 3 dayI use these for school because the fine tip allows me to make very detailed drawings and small notes. My wife also likes to use them for calligraphy. The price you pay for such a fine tip is that they do not last very long if you use them very much but thats why they come in a 6-pack.

> 3 dayFavorite pens! have several rosters that I write notes on....these allow me to write a little more in less space. I have these in various sizes and colors for art projects, but the .005 size is great for small script in a small space.

> 3 dayFirst off, as an artist, I am always looking for new ways to make art. In the past year I have picked up painting as something I like to do. After painting, since what I do is in acrylic, I usually like to outline it so that everything has a nice clean line. I have used gel pen, regular pen, sharpie (the thin one) and all sorts of other types of pens. Gel usually smears, pen gives out and makes gaps etc. I just hadnt found what I wanted. My husband suggested I try Micron. At first, I purchased a multi pack and was happy with it, but needed something small for details. I picked out this set with how tiny the tips are. They were just what I needed. I have uploaded a sample of my work with the pen as I am very happy with how it worked out. However, there is a reason for the three stars. While these pens work great, the tips first off are very fragile. You have to be incredibly careful not to push or the little tip will disappear. Second of all, I have had three pens just start leaking all over. The pen in the photo was used for a whole 20 minutes straight out of the package. I was very careful not to push and had just finished outlining a painting when I looked at my hand and it had started leaking. I made sure to move my painting and then noticed the ink was starting to drip. It was very fast. I figured it was a fluke. However, that would not be the first pen to do this. I have had a total of three explode like this and two simply stop working out of the probably 18 pens I have from a few packages. I started using this brand because I could get my small outlines without the ink smearing when I used more paint or mod podge to seal the paintings. However, I am disappointed with how many have ended up thrown away because of issues like this.
