My process memory used to be 80%+ while using my laptop for regular things like email, streaming videos and music. I have an old 2012 Samsung laptop that had only 6 GB RAM, so this upgrade was a welcome change. Now when I check, my memory usage is 30% or less, so I can trust nothing will freeze up should I try to watch a DVD or play a game.

I have a HP ZBook, first gen, that had 16gb of RAM [4 x 4gb sticks]. I pulled out two of the sticks and swapped them with these, giving me now 24gb, and it definitely has made a difference. The extra room has certainly helped with my video editing but also seems to have sped up just routine tasks. Checking with the Win 10s utility it shows that the manufacturer is indeed Samsung. I will be getting 2 more sticks to swap out the last two 4gb sticks.
