Bought 2 of these for gaming. Kids love the curved screen and picture quality.

This is probably a user error because I am a 20-year-old girl. However, for the life of me, I cannot get the speakers on this monitor to work. I can tell that my computer is trying to push sound, as that is what it says the speakers are out-putting to. However, I cannot make it work on the computer. Also, I cannot find the sound buttons. It might have helped if I looked it up or found a manual, however, I havent. So in terms of a great monitor, it is awesome. It feels luxurious and is very easy on the eyes. I am running it off of my laptop and props to my laptop too, because she runs like a champ. Anyway, if anyone could tell me how to get the speakers on the monitor to work? I would be grateful, although the likelihood of me coming back to this post or this review page is extremely low. I will suffer in silence. thanks for reading.

This is my third curved screen samsung monitor. I still have the others and use them on other computers at other locations than my home office. The new one has somewhat more contrast and somewhat more brilliant colors than the older ones (one is the same size (27) and the other is smaller (24). It is also brighter than the older ones. Text and photos is thus a bit clearer than on the previous ones, although ive been happy with those as well. I use the screen many for writing, rather than for gaming, with seccondary uses for zoom meetings, photos and an ocassional video. One surprise is that with a logitech camera mounted to the top (extra of course) there is enough light from the screen that secondary lighting is less critical than it was on the earlier ones, even with the brightness turned down quite a bit. Other than that, like the other ones, its relatively easy on the eyes and clear. This size allows full pages to be displayed sied by side (with space to spare for enlargements), or two separate legible Teams screens to be used simultaneously--very useful as more and more meetings are held remotely.

This is a gorgeous monitor at a very attractive price. I cant speak to its use as a gaming monitor, as I use it for general computing (email, web-browsing, docx and pdf file creation, YouTube and streaming video, etc.), but for my purposes it is wonderful. The curved screen is a real plus, especially at this large image size, and its a breeze to set up on a Windows 10 computer. A word of advice: the base of this monitor is different from the one shown in the Amazon ad. As you can see in the accompanying photo, the base is round, rather than the winged version that Amazon displays in its ad. (There are other models in the CF390 series that have the winged base, but not this one.) I was actually happy about that mismatch, as the round base seems preferable to me -- it takes up less room on my desktop. Note also that the printed documentation that comes with this monitor is meager, at best. There is little there but some hard-to-interpret ideograms for setting it up (with accompanying text in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese), and a brochure explaining the (to my mind, useless) Eye-Saver Mode in 34 different languages. Seriously! Whats missing is any instruction on the use of the joy-stick control on the back of the monitor, which is an all-purpose control for setting brightness, contrast, display mode, on-off, etc. Its pretty intuitive, but still, there should be something. Fortunately, there is a downloadable PDF at the Samsung website that is more like a proper users guide. But even that does not discuss the use of the joy-stick. What is it with the people who write documentation for tech products? But enough griping. This is a magnificent monitor at a very attractive price. I just love it.

I work from home and bought two of these for work. They work great and are a big upgrade from what I had. Got them for a very reasonable price too - just make sure you know what youre getting. I have no idea if these are good for gaming, but they work well for what Im using them for. I have them mounted on a monitor arm and didnt use the stand that they come with. It has a piece on the back for the stand that sticks out. However, it hasnt been a problem for me. The HDMI cable also goes straight out the back too, so if you need something flush with the wall, this isnt going to work. Also, it only has a single HDMI input and no display port. If you need both, youll have to buy a cable to convert it.

I bought two of these monitors and the quality is great

Plenty has been said about this monitor. The only thing I wish it had was both HDMI & DataPort. I had to buy a DataPort-> HDMI adapter as my Lenovo dock only has a single HDMI and 2 DataPorts, and this monitor has only an HDMI & VGA. The adapter was only $8.20. I know, I know, its a low cost monitor (I paid $149 w/Prime free shipping). How much extra would it cost to have both ports? SUGGESTION: Rather than a HDMI & VGA, why not a HDMI and Dataport, and those who need VGA can buy an adapter? There are far more monitors with HDMI & Dataport than VGA in 2022. This is a only a minor nit.
