Clearly the technology has advanced. For 1/3 the cost I got 4 times the storage -- nine years later.

Works as designed with no issues or quality problems, it may cost a bit more but you are getting what you pay for.

I purchased this SSD to put into my Acer laptop as a secondary drive to the 512 GB M.2 which runs the Operating system. The M.2 had started to become a bit full as I havent yet been able to get video and lossless music backed up onto hard drives on my desktop system and I wanted to move them onto the secondary drive.

once the cache fills up (i notice around 40gb file size) the write speed slows down to the speed of a typical hard drive. get the evo instead

Love the price for the capacity, dont like the 3-year warranty and the online reviews of speed are only fair at best. Using it for a storage drive, not the boot drive on a pc
