I bought it two days ago and it is working perfectly since then. When it arrived I was shocked with the poor packaging, a big box with the item lose in it, maybe because its SSD, so it will not be sensitive to shocks when shipping.

I never wouldve ordered two of these, I needed one drive for one open slot in my drive case. I removed a SATA Disk Drive of 3tb and just decided to keep the two 1tb drives. Not happy with the bait and switch however. Its not the Drives themselves, just not what I picked out, bought or expected. Drives themselves are Samsung fine!

Pretty slow like for Samsung. I didnt know Samsung makes SSDs without real DRAM

This works perfectly on the ps4 my launch ps4 runs this with no issues, the only difference on this ssd vs a hdd is the ssd is a tad bit smaller and when u screw this into the drive bracket for the ps4 it will feel like it doesnt line up but it will, I went from a 2tb hdd with a chunk of my game library on the drive to a 4tb ssd and my full ps4 gsme collection and then some with well over a full tb to spare, loading times are faster on the drive so u will get to ur games a bit faster,

Installation was a breeze in a Dell Alienware Aurora R11. The speed increase from a HDD to SSD is incredible. My PC is the very least 3 to 4 times faster if not more. HDD will become obsolete very soon.

This unit works fast, once installed, but not everything was effortless. I connected the unit with a Sabrant cable adapter, which worked fine. The first clue of an issue was when the Samsung Data Transfer software did not automatically install, as indicated. I installed that but the data from the old drive just did not install. I used a third party cloning software, it worked like a charm, in quick time, 500Gb of data.

did a full reinstall of windows which now boots in like 5 seconds. game load screens are mostly a sad memory as i pop from zone to zone almost instantly even in high traffic areas.

Works great for PS5, just get a sata to usb and you’ll be able to store and play all your Ps4 games off of the ssd.
