does the job like it is suppose to! easy to install for those who knows enough (but not an expert) about tech like myself. downloaded the samsung data migration file from the web. And was able to copy my files from the old ssd onto the new ssd!

Ive installed a half dozen or more of these Samsung 870 SSD drives in either the 500 GB or 1 TB size. SSD drives really put the pep back into your computer. When you load an application it comes off your drive, not memory. When you open a document or file, it comes off your drive. Sometimes you run out of memory for loading your operating system. When that happens your computer uses the hard drive. SSD drives are so much faster.

Just what we needed to back up our files. Works perfectly. Highly recommend.

Should be cheaper

If I were you I would not buy this item. It is completely unreliable and the customer support is useless. The issue I have with this item is that it works initially but after a few days or PC restarts the SSD drive is no longer available and can not be found in file explorer and any data stored is now gone. However, going into to disk management the SSD drive is recognizable and Im immediately prompted to initialize Disk. Ive initialized the disk over 8 times now yielding the same results, checked and replaced SATA cables, tried to update drivers, etc., sent the item to SAMSUNG for repairs, and instead of replacing the item they allegedly updated the firmware and yet the device is still doing the exact same thing. Invest your money elsewhere, this will be the last SAMSUNG product I will be purchasing.

Worked great for my ps3. Super fast interface thats how I know the SSD is working and working fast even on the PlayStation Store. Cant wait to see the load times as well.

Windows has become so bloated I literally had to wait hours after turning on my computer before I could use it. With this SSD, the computer is up and ready to go in less than a minute, usually about 30 seconds.

I bought this for my PS4 because my hard drive was corrupting. Now my load screens are much faster and I can clip (or screen record) my game play with no issues and the videos save fast. Allowing me to get back into the game ASAP. It easy super easy to install in my PS4 too. I call my console the PS4.5 now due to its performance upgrade :)

Does as intended. Currently use it to store all of my games files and whatnot.
