Had no difficulties inserting this into the m.2 slot on my computer and creating and then mounting the file system.

I installed this on a Dell G5 5587 to replace the standard hard drive. It came with a slow 5400 rpm drive. This drive sped things up quite a bit. It was easy to install and no special drivers required. The OEM OS install recognized the drive.

I love my Samsung 970 EVO. Stupid fast speeds and easy to install since its m.2. Keeps a pc build nice as well, since it removes the need for extra space and wires since its not sata.

The drive came to me completely unformatted and I had to format it myself which caused a loss of 10% of the volume. If I hadnt done this before I would have had a product that for all purposes was dead on arrival

Absolutely fantastic drive for the money. Is there faster? Yes, but theyre gen 4 PCIe drives, and also substantially more expensive. This drive will saturate a 4x gen 4 PCIe connection without breaking a sweat. Been running them for a couple years now with zero issues. Highly suggest these drives!

As advertised, this SSD is expensive but will give you a reliable and fast read/write. Bench test matched the product specification. (4 star only because of price!)
