> 3 dayAfter the 0E incident, 970EPs reputation declined, but it is still worthy of the strongest PCIE-3.0SSD. The temperature and speed performance are very good, even exceeding some PCIE 4.0 SSDs (your SN770!)

> 3 dayI wont get into benchmarks and all that, others have posted the numbers youll likely see. Fast, great warranty, its Samsung so you know you are getting a well made product that should last years. Price did go up a bit from the last time I viewed it, but thats expected with all that is going on with memory and chips now days. I will say the only issue I find that others have stated, and this drive gets posted on, is the heat. When in use it gets hot, very hot. After looking around at posts on reddit and here, among a few places, it seems to be normal. This is the first Samsung drive Ive seen ever get this hot, but if Samsung says its okay, who am I to argue. Ive seen it get as hot as 69 c... No drive Ive ever had has gotten that hot. Hopefully this wont cause issues in the future but should anything come of it, Ill update my review. Other than that, love it! Would recommend to others.

> 3 dayI love my Samsung 970 EVO. Stupid fast speeds and easy to install since its m.2. Keeps a pc build nice as well, since it removes the need for extra space and wires since its not sata.

20-11-2024Ive had it for a couple of months now and it is FAST. Also Samsung NVME SSDs dont usually pull off shenanigans that other manufacturers do with downgrading NAND technology, etc. Just install and forget.
