I made no compromises with this purchase. The 970 Pro was incredibly fast, but it was too expensive and I needed more space for my main drive, so I went with the second best option, the EVO. Ive heard a lot of good things about the EVO series M.2s, and they all meet expectations! Load times, download and transfer speeds are incredible, and I can put a couple of my favorite games on the drive for very fast loading speeds! I absolutely love M.2s, and have only ever owned Samsungs. I cant find myself switching any time soon as they are consistent and reliable!

I should have gotten a bigger size.

This is a very fast ssd. I installed it into my gaming laptop and the boot up times and load times decreased dramatically.

Samsung 970 EVO Plus is much faster than my previous SSD storage. With reading speed and writing speed above 3k GB made my loading screen and installing session ended quickly.

It was easy enough to install once I figured out how to get my gorilla style hands to work with small screws and mounts.

This SSD was installed into a simple lenovo laptop and within a year of minimal use, died on me. Disk had errors and I tried multiple times restoring it and running it through various disk utilities, but no luck.

This M.2 NVMe is very fast. Its been in for a month on my machine and has performed flawlessly. Used for photo processing.

I use one of these for my primary boot drive, and a second larger unit for games and storage. These nvme ssds are incredible! Samsung leads the market in such devices and you certainly will NOT be disappointed. Its worth every penny even if you only have a single one of these in your system to cut down on costs.

Very Nice Drive. Now I understand why it has such good reviews. Blows away the WD Black. Everything opens up with almost no delay.
