To start out, this drive is blisteringly fast. Top scores in just about every metric, if pure speed is your goal, this is the drive to get. This is my 6th Samsung SSD, following a 830, 840 Pro and EVOs, 860 EVO, and finally this 970 EVO Plus. Unfortunately, this particular 1TB 970 Evo Plus died about 3 months after purchase. Drive was no longer recognized in BIOS after functioning well from date of purchase.

After going through the process of opening the machine, only to discover the SSD does not come with the needed screw to install it. I will be returning just because of a tiny screw

I have 13 2015 early model with 8GB Ram with 256GB SolidStateDrive, and I upgraded to 1TB. I think my old Macbook can last another 7 years. Computer is solid, and will do internet and write paper, and do fine with photos.

Even when somehow water and soda got on it on multiple occasions it still work lol. Its been in my laptop and my desktop so pretty reliable.

Easy install, good quality, good read write speeds. Would buy again.

The pic is their version of used like new. My 6-month-old Evo has had 14 TB of data written to the SSD, when I contacted Amazon they gave me a very good discount on the SSD, but that should not have slipped by.

Used it for my gaming pc.. runs faster the my old one but i know if you pay more there are faster ones... this is a great middle ground..

I like this due to having a gen 3 motherboard. It makes my boot times stupidly faster.
