> 3 dayThis Samsung 980 Pro PCI-E 4.0 Gen4 M.2 Nvme Drive is so far the fastest Drive I have used so far... I have the 500GB Version installed in my M.2 Slot #1 (out of 3 total) that is dedicated to store my Windows 10 Pro x64 Operating System plus basic Programs... My startup time is mere seconds and everything is super fast... Highly Recommend this drive... was able to get around 6,900MB/s Read & 5,000MB/s Write Speeds using some benchmark software tho I didnt get screenshots... I could in the future I suppose but anyway this Drive is extremely fast... I am very big with Sabrent Brand Storage media personally due to their high speeds, new technology, & cheaper pricing vs Samsung however this 980 Pro was on sale at the time so I grabbed it and it performs exceptionally well...

Greater than one weekI built a new computer and was debating between the 980 pro and Sn850x, I dont regret my purchase at all. This thing is super fast and very stable, glad the samsung magician software sorted out the shortened life issue.

> 3 dayI installed this into a new Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen-10 laptop. I cloned the 256GB SSD that came with the laptop to this SSD and replaced the 256 GB SSD with this 2TB SSD. It booted up nicely and recognized the SSD. I expanded the disk space and all works just fine. It runs very cool so am happy.

Greater than one weekThis is now my fourth M.2 Samsung SSD in 970 EVO and 980 Pro models, all 2 TB, 2 in a laptop and 2 in a gaming tower. Love them. They read and write fast, dont seem to overheat or cause my case temps to raise more than usual, and Ive never had a failure of any kind.

16-11-2024First Libre was bricked out of box. Replacement one works flawlessly. If you get a bad one, return for another because when they work, they really work.

> 3 dayIve been using m.2 since the first generation! Make no mistake, ALL m.2 storage devices are FAST! this baby is simply a delightful indulgence. Do my apps/games run noticeably faster than first gen m.2? In most cases, no. But for file intensive operations, this device is a show off! And to be able to buy 2tb at less than $200 is a complete steal. Stop reading these reviews already and get one.

> 3 daySamsung has the SSD market pretty locked down. You cannot do better than this. It was a little bit annoying setting up due to its software needs but once you get it set up it is amazing.
