> 3 dayI was surprised to read some of the reviews on this ... Samsung is normally solid as a rock. Ive used it routinely for my PCs, I didnt even think twice about it. When I went to write this review - thats when I saw others with negative reviews about it.

> 3 dayVery easy to install. The extra storage is a must with the size of games now. Definitely noticed quicker loading times.

> 3 dayOrdered this for a new build because the price was right, barely costs more than a 1tb 990. Works great for me coming from 840 and 860 sata drives, way faster.

Greater than one weekThe ssd is super easy to install following the instructions on ps5 YouTube channel. Make sure you get the right size screwdriver to open the ssd slot and change the position of the screw. Takes less than 5 minutes. The system must be updated to the latest firmware update BEFORE you format the drive, otherwise it will not have the same read speed. Format the drive and it’s ready to go. Very fast and all games are playable off it (ps4 and ps5)

> 3 dayItem came in pristine condition. More than satisfied with the overall packaging and condition with the item received! I did receive the item late, but that was due to an issue with USPS.

> 3 dayGot a pair of these for my ps5 and the wifes. Best option out there. Im a samsung guy for storage because they have the best ssds that I trust with storage. The speed of these little bad boys is amazing coming from an external ssd. Especially the speed difference between an external hdd and this, the gap is shocking. The built in heatsink is a plus too as playstation recommends one with a built in one as well.

> 3 dayI completely slipped up purchasing a NUC with a HDD for a drive a couple of yrs ago (instead of a machine with a SSD). Had been meaning to upgrade for some time now and had been on the fence about the expense vs the how much faster will my computer be? thing. Also, I am not computer savvy, so, I also was procrastinating b/c I didnt want to mess with my computers internals.

> 3 dayFirst off its not as fast as the Hynix P41 so if theyre at a similar price Id get that one. I have both in my system. That said its likely faster than you will ever need. While in theory the fast transfer speeds as outlined in CrystalDisk, for photo and 4K video editing Ive never really gone past a few hundred MB/s so its all overkill. Im mainly using this drive for paging files and cache and eventually to store video projects Im actively working on before I move them back to HDDs for storage.

Greater than one weekHonestly i dont think many people will see the true difference between this drive and another ssd of m.2 but for anyone on need of a productivity boost youll notice the difference but nothing to really help speed in game or fps
