Once I updated my firmware to Mojave I was able to get 3278 mbs read speeds. This while keeping my os set up as High Sierra. A little tricky but well worth it (avoid early versions of Mojave firmware). Its surprising given the age of this computer. Right now I have two of the samsungs set up on an Ableconn PEXM2-130 Dual PCIe NVMe card in the 2nd 16 lane slot. Temps havent been a problem at all so far and I have mac fan control set up just in case. One caveat though. The Black Magic Speed Tests are much slower, probably due to the lack of dedicated dram. Still for my work things have been pretty smooth. Only when I have three 4k video tracks blending together do things get a little choppy at full res. But thats likely due to the fact that my editing program doesnt use my video card very well and at 1/2 res its not a problem at all.

Just slides in and screw it in with the screws that came with my motherboard. People complaining about it not coming with screws should have just kept theirs to be honest.

Great value and great for the everyday user. Ran out of space on my m.2 gen 4. I have an extra spot for a gen 3 so this made perfect sense. Not as fast as a gen 4 but more most users you wont tell the difference. Great for gaming, storage, files, etc.

It’s really good. If you’re looking for an m.2 drive not too expensive and FAST. Get this one.

Excelente en todo , valió la pena . El único problema no viene con tornillo para la placa, aun que normalmente estas traen , no estaría mal que viniera con uno .

As all M.2 it was very easy to install. Exceeded all my expectations. I am experiencing very fast boots. It seems very stable.
