Samsung Electronics SM-T830NZALXAR Galaxy Tab S4 with S Pen, 10.5, Gray

This S4 flagship Samsung Tablet is the best Android tablet available today. In my opinion, S4 is the best overall use tablet, although I personally favor my S3 & S2 models. I favor the S2 for Internet searches, email, non-entertainment videos, social media. It is noticably lighter & has ideal dimensions. The S3 audio is better and the S Pen works well. With S3 I almost need to use the pen for navigation, which is why I prefer the S2 for Internet research & business. Entertainment video is superior on the S3 & top shelf on the S4. To get the picture quality of the S4 on a HD or 4K TV the buyer must set the picture settings. Most people cannot. Question. Why must buyers setup their TV picture but the S3 & S4 come optimized? There are a few things I dislike about the S4. For people who need larger fonts, the S2 is best. You can expand to 150% [With app Big Fonts] and all the apps still work well. Not so, the S4. I do not like the dimensions of the S4 for this reason & photo viewing is better on the S3 & S2. The S Pen is Game Changer Better and the screen is still great for finger & generic stylus navigation. Many Buyers who dont own an S3 will prefer the significantly cheaper S3 for its dimensions, lighter weight, and the buttons. The S4 is more for artists & users who use tablets for video, Tv, & movies than for general uses. Many tablet users lose the EASE of use AND GREATER SPEED of S2 for superb S Pen functions they may never use, VIDEO. & AUDIO. I use tablets for everything but games. For me, I prefer the S4 for video & audio. Both are outstanding. Bewarned. There is a real learning curve. I prefer the hardware buttons of all other Samsung tablets. My advice? If you are not an artist or need an S Pen or a picky video consumer, Many people will be happier with an S3 or S2. Consider the much lighter, touch sensitive & CHEAPER S2, still an outstanding tablet. S2 a is a noticeably faster Internet tablet. Why do I have an S4? I am a gadget guy, a heavy tablet user & Im hooked on the Galaxy Tab S line of tablets. I couldnt stand to watch lengthy videos, TV shows, or movies on a tablet until the S4. Its my go to tablet for video & audio. I also bought mine refurbished from Amazon, so I got one for an S3 price. Dont let audio choose for you. A good $40 bluetooth speaker is still much better.

I love this tablet. Audio is top-notch, graphics are great, and the stylus makes it fun to use.

Love this replacement for my old laptop.

Bluetooth didnt work for me... at first. Returned the s3 for same reason. I discovered I needed to unpair my keyboards from my other tablets or turn them off. Then the s4 found it. The Microsoft mouse was the same problem, but I also had to pull the batteries out to reset it. You also need to press the bluetooth button for a few seconds to get the blue light flashing bright so it can be found. The tablet is fantastic!! The wacom surface and S Pen is great. On normal tablets, you can draw only when your hand doesnt touch the tablet. No problem here. I didnt buy the Samsung keyboard because you cannot reposition the tablet vertical. Some web sites need that. The Samsung keyboard is not bluetooth. The tablet connects to the keyboard by the pin contacts on the botton, so if you did turn it vertical, it would disconnet from the keyboard.

I have had many tablets but this has been the best by far. screen quality, construction and feel are all outstanding although this is a pricey tablet. Would love to see samsung do a 12.2 inch min version at some point

Galaxy tab S4 is my own successor to the earlier model Tab S2, and I couldnt be prouder of having made the replacement. Tab S4, which Ive had for 6 weeks so far, is my go-to in home device for mail, browsing, and portable streaming. It has not disappointed in terms of wireless connectivity, screen resolution, gorgeous display, no dead pixels, performance on demand, no lag, no throttling, superb build quality - just a fine workhorse. Battery life is prolonged, and the fast recharge capability brings it back to full charge in a very short time. Lightweight. Stable. Survived a drop to the carpeted floor that I thought was going to harm it. Easy to recommend.

I particularly hate the case with the keyboard. Everything falls out and it is awkward to use. Otherwise if functions well.

Check emails, gaming.

This is my first real tablet. Im owned plenty of desktops, laptops, and Kindle devices over the years, but never saw much use for a tablet. Assuming the technology should have finally caught up with tablets to make them more than just portable notebooks, I decided to try this device when it became available through Vine. Im underwhelmed.

No fingerprint reader on their flagship product, inexcusable! Regret buying this as Im constantly having to type in passwords instead of just using my fingerprint.
