This is a very high quality monitor. While it has a high refresh rate, and is advertised as a gaming monitor, I find that it works equally well for setting up a information display system in my home office. I am running the magicmirror2 system on a raspberrypi feeding into this monitor. The resulting image is sharp. Some pros: - the configuration buttons are easy to use, the menu system is easy to understand and user - the monitor rotates up and down, left to right. It is very easy to adjust viewing angle - the monitor rotates between landscape and portrait mode (see photos). I ended up using it in portrait mode. - the height adjustment is just friction locked. I find that it is very easy to move the monitor up or down - the monitor has a very consistent and thin edge on the left and right and top. It will work well in a two monitor setup Cons - The feet of the monitor is strong, which is good, but they require assembly. I have to screw in three screws on each leg - the power supply is a 14V barrel type connection, and there is a separate brick for feeding power. More wire to manage Overall a great display. I may even try to use this as my main monitor for working on my Mac.

I have to say, this was a solid product. Good visuals, I like how the screen looks. It’s pretty clear. I think the price could be between $10-20 cheaper as it’s not amazing. It’s decent and an okay value for what you’re getting. I wish the contrast was a little stronger from darks and lights.

Monitor suddenly cant do more than 60hz without losing its image. Completely disappointed.

Good for first monitor gaming buyers for the price and quality.

From this experience it seems like Samsung has the worst service. I would advise against buying any of their products. Completely ridiculous.

This monitor was a big upgrade for me in terms of screen real estate, so Im trying not to be biased just in terms of wow, look how much space I have! Its amazing how big a difference there is going from a 24in to a 27in... on paper, it doesnt sound like a lot, but in practice... its a lot. That being said, I spend all day at screens for work, then play games after. I also wear eyeglasses and suffer chronic migraines. I was intrigued by the eye-saver setting on this monitor and the no-flicker promises, especially. Given the price range, I wasnt expecting anything revolutionary in terms of graphics performance while gaming... but I do want it to not hurt my eyes or give me a headache. Honestly, so far so good. I turned on the eye-saver setting right away. Someone not used to immediately setting a monitor to go easy on the eyes might be put off by the effect is has on color--it is a little washed out and has the effect of lowering the brightness level without actually dimming the output. Blues, especially, become a little hazier. Whites arent as bright. You get used to it very quickly. And while flickers generally arent detectable consciously, I have to say viewing has been a pretty pleasant experience. I can work even in a dimly lit space without discomfort. Ive attached some pictures with my drawing tablet as a control to show some of the different color presets for the monitor: eye-saver (described above), standard (out of the box), and FPS (which noticeably turns up the gamma). There are a couple of other settings too, as well as some more manual color settings that you can fiddle with. Which actually brings me to my only issue with this monitor--and thats the menu buttons. Its 2021, and Im hitting hard keys on the back of a screen like its still 2005. The keys are loud and kind of hard to press. My kingdom for a remote or software menu. Other things to know: Its not explicit in the product description, but this monitor is VESA mount compatible. I threw mine right up onto my desk mount. Its 100 x 100.

    Greater than one week

If you’re on the search for a monitor with lots of picture settings and customization; look elsewhere. Besides that it’s a great flat monitor with the option to turn vertical and lower or raise it(also tilting).

PROS: Basically none. CONS: -Image quality is terrible -You can see the backlight behind the pixels -Sooo much backlight bleed -VESA Mounting is NOT done well. Its the correct thread spacing, however the mounting surface is depressed about half an inch into the frame which disables any vesa mount to fit in that space so you cant even mount it properly. -For being 144hz, there is so much mouse trail or ghosting that it actually hurt my eyes to move my mouse around my screen. Its as if youre using a CRT, Im not even exaggerating. -Not only the ghosting but if you move the cursor slowly, the cursor will go behind windows somehow, it beats me man, I have no idea how that even happens. I will never buy a Samsung-screened product ever again. This monitor ruined my experience with this company, completely. TL;DR Do not listen to the 4.6 star rating, and instead, listen to the 1 star reviews that you see, they are truthful and describe the monitor to a tee.
