Very fast transfer rate, large storage, light weight and durable - better than expected

Love everything about this speedy little bugger... except that the indicator light is on the same end as the plug. So you either have an ugly and cumbersome plug sticking out in your face, or youre looking at the ass-end of the device with the nasty FCC label. AND, the USB cable(s) it ships with are so short that the device barely reaches the desktop when plugged-in.

The size of a credit card and weighs next to nothing at about 50 grams. This is lightning fast. So, fast, you blink for small files and its done its job. Using this with a MacBook. Download the latest firmware from the Samsung T5 website for your operating system before using. I love this portable hard drive.

Sadly after a year of infrequent use and safe storage the product failed and died. Very poor quality to price ratio. Not reliable

Very sleek, fast & dependable drive! I was very apprehensive about the price after I spent big on another ssd drive that failed after a year but even though I’ve only had it a month I’m sold! The speed and the fact it was 2TB is everything for my DJ needs!

Great product, just not completely sure why it’s so expensive, even compared to other solid state drives...

This is an impressive little device. I am impressed with the look, and the apparent durability of the drive. In classic Samsung style, the drive is a good looking accessory especially for my Dell Precision 5530. I believe the drive will be very durable it is made of what feels like aluminum and is sealed on the ends. I would not hesitate to put this in my pocket for quick and easy transport.

A really small solid state HDD. It performs well for my purposes.
