    I had the traditional hard drive and dropped it, cant recover anything, so this item fits the requirement to ensure I dont lose anymore data. It is small in size, but has enough storage space to handle my backups. Will probably buy more in the future.

    While I havent had any reliability issues like some other reviewers yet, the fastest Ive been able to write anything to this drive is about 30 MB/s, while the 2.5 HDDs on the same USB3 hub routinely hit over 120.
