SanDisk 1TB Extreme Portable External SSD - Up to 550MB/s - USB-C, USB 3.1 - SDSSDE60-1T00-G25

Hard to achieve the rated read/write speeds but love that its both small & fast. I havent had it long enough to test durability - it gets 4/5 based on build quality - I suspect it would not withstand any extreme use. Overall Im pleased with my purchase especially for under £140 on sale although itll surely sell for less in a few months.

Went from traveling with a huge 4 pound 500gb box that had to be plugged into power to work to this tinier-than-my-palm external drive and it’s been a dream. Smaller than you can imagine yet tons of storage. Technology is amazing.

Klein, schnell, stylisch, gut. Für 130 Euro ein Schnäppchen. Mit dem passenden, ebenfalls stylischen Hardcase eine saubere Sache für insgesamt 140 Euro

Purchased Nov 30, 2018 and stopped working Dec 2020. For as much as this SSD cost, I would have expected it to work for much longer ... as all the other storage devises I have purchased are still working years later with no issues.

Très portable et excellente capacité de stockage pour le prix

Pros:

Ottimo prodotto, lo uso ormai da diverso tempo e mi trovo benissimo. Comodo, maneggevole e velocissimo, consigliato soprattutto a chi, come me, ha acquistato un computer portatile con limitata capacità di archiviazione.

Ich nutze diese 1TB SSD Festplatte für Time Maschine am iMac. Läuft prima und fix. Macht was sie soll, von Beginn an ohne Probleme. 3 Jahre Garantie. Bin sehr zufrieden.

I bought this disk specifically to use as external backup device which I could carry around with me. I use a program called Chronosync which compares my hard drive to this drive and copies over only newer documents. Its super fast and very reliable. It can back up my hard drive to the SANDISK in less than 2 minutes. So no problems with performance. BUT - there does not seem to be any ability to password protect the drive. I even chatted with the SANDISK rep and they confirmed no ability. They supply a disk Vault software that can encrypt the disk, but the vault does not have the look of the original files and will not work with Chronosync. No password protect means I must keep this under lock and key. NOTE: The Mac disk utility also will not work to encrypt this disk. FAIL.

LSSD viaggia a velocità leggermente inferiori ma comunque sono attendibili, vi consiglio di utilizzare una presa USB 3.1 oppure la USB-C per sfruttare al meglio la SSD. Il cavo un po corto e adattatore non perfetto ma comunque accettabile
