SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable External SSD - Up to 550MB/s - USB-C, USB 3.1 - SDSSDE60-2T00-G25

I got this SSD because I thought it would be able to store my FCPX Library and read/write better than my other spinner hard drives. First day using it and its crashed three times. Now Im just trying to get the Library to fully open in FCPX and I get nothing but the spinning wheel. I guess this was a complete waste of $250.

I do a lot of video editing using Adobe Premiere Elements 14 which up to now has become a ponderous operation as videos have got longer and loading them from an external hard disk drive. I had heard that this drive could speed up the time it took to load and run my video editor and associated files. I took the chance and hooked up this drive to my Mac Mini, running High Sierra, loaded up a current video project and then stood back in amazement as the whole project loaded in a fraction of the time it had before. Delighted with this I then loaded the application onto the drive as well and ran the editor again with another great speed up of starting and running the editor.

Works fine but it heats up when you. Boot windows 10 on macbook air. If you want to boot the windows on macbook air 2019 first press command r then it will land you on Startup Security Utility select no security on secure boot and external drive boot then you are good to go.

Funciona perfectamente aunque es excesivamente caro.

I work as a photographer and need to move a ton of files very quickly while on location to hand off to clients. This is the best solution I have found for the price.

Crazy fast, tiny, weighs barely anything. My only concern is losing it! It’s pricey but you definitely get what you pay for in speed. I use it for audio sample libraries and it works like a dream

This 500 GB SSD drive is great. I love the rubbery outside. The ScanDisk enclosure is so much better compare to my Samsung T5. With the T5 SSD you always have to worry to get scratches on the enclosure and the T5 does not have an option to carry it on a carabiner. Even so I wouldnt wear my SSD drive on my belt but you could easily use a carabiner to attach it to your computer backpack. The connection cable is shorter than the T5 cable but I actually like the shorter cable. I think there is not much noticeable speed difference unless you are counting milliseconds. I bought it mainly for backup purpose.

Works great all the time. No issues. I would recommend this product.

bonne capacité, très compacte et rapide. seul critique pour 4 étoiles et pas cinq : un câble de connexion bcp trop court et pas pratique du coup pour le connecter, par exemple sur TV accrochée au mur, avec le petit adaptateur USB.
