I purchased this primarily as the back-up drive for my computer. It’s user-friendly and is more portable than I imagined. It’s probably a quarter the volume of a traditional external hard disk drive. I have no qualms with read and write speeds. It has a nice, sturdy, rugged build. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for portable, high capacity storage.

Love the SSD HD, I back up all my files to it now. It’s interesting that they show it hooked on a carabiner but there is no place to store the cable When transporting. It’s the small things.

I bought this a month ago in order to simply store my video clips from my drone and *sync* up to my SD card using either my iPad or new Chromebook Flip. I was hoping that it would come with needed software and instructions that would make it useful to work with. Theres no software as far as I can tell and no instructions on how to make this thing work. Searched google and youtube with no such luck. Im sure the people who have worked with this gear before can make this thing work, however I dont have a clue. I dont understand who this SDD is intended for. From the advertising, they seem to be marketing to people like me who travel and need portable storage on various platforms. However, I cant get this to work with either my iPad or Google Chromebook. With no instructions, Ive never seen such a useless device. Maybe its made to go with Windows? If it doesnt work with anything else, why is this rated so well?
