Greater than one weekFast read/write on BIG files - but writing hundreds or thousands of smaller files will remind you of the golden days of 56K dial-up internet. Horrible performance all around. Worse yet, these drives run HOT! After 2 minutes the connector is nearly too hot to touch - I feared for the life of my hardware. How this junk bears the name SanDisk is mystery to me. Returned 2 days later. Beware, stay away from these particular drives! Grade = F

Greater than one weekI think 32GB is the perfect size for storing stuff off a hard disk or an SSD. If you need to to that, then you certainly dont want to run out of external storage space. So, using these 32GB thumb drives works just fantastic. I never had a problem getting either my Macs or my Windows 10 PCs reading from them. Ive also used them to transfer data between older Powerbooks and older Lenovo PCs. They seem to read fast and write just fine. There compact size is a plus, but the can be hard to hold onto at times. I also wished they would include a strap for each thumb drive instead of only two. That doesnt make sense!

> 3 dayI only shy away from their CRUZER BLADE SDCZ50-16G Simply because of the look, I know they work, but they look like a temporary throwaway, In my work, everything is The LOOK So I stick with the CRUZER GLIDE SDCZ60 or the Ultra USB 3.0 At my age you set the bar High..!

> 3 dayI learned the hard way that most thumb drives, regardless of capacity, are formatted in a way that does not allow any single file over 4gb to be loaded. This is a problem for consumers. At the very least, manufacturers should be upfront about this so non-tech-savvy consumers (like me) dont return thumb drives as faulty (as I did) when they just need to be reformatted.

> 3 dayThis USB drive is, in absolute dollar terms, inexpensive. And, it does what it says it does. And, it’s a lot ‘cheaper’ than other similar drives. The complaint I have is that this sized drive could EASILY hold 1TB of information … heck iPhones have 1TB of storage on SSD’s not much larger than this drive. It’s really a choice the manufacturer makes to reduce the capacity of the drive for marketing, not functional, purposes. One day a smart manufacturer will come along and actually adopt a policy to give excellent value … exchange over and above what is expected … instead of manipulating the customer by marketing.

> 3 dayYou would think in 2021 that its easy to get a working thumb drive from just about anyone right? That is the opposite case when buying cheap drives on Amazon. Save your time and just buy these. Two already went into the wash and still work flawlessly.
