> 3 dayThese do work fine as USB drives but the form around the USB part is made of extremely thin material, after a couple months Im down to ~2 of them without cracked or broken shrouds around the usb which make using them problematic

Lincoln County MT
> 3 dayBought as a way to extend through a variety of different avenues something that hubby has used for years. An original Fuze player by Sandisk They do make some now poor quality MP3 players but as far as those who owned the original one of say a decade ago those are the best and have followers willing to pay upwards of 2-3 hundred dollars for refurbs. Oh thats just ridiculous. Anyway at the time I gifted hubby with the Fuze he so loved I also gifted him with two car adaptors to play through our car radio. One was a spare never used or opened even. The other he used a lot when we travel to nearest big city here Kalsipell MT some 100 mile one way so 200 round trip its nice to have music to stay alert and wake by and no radio stations and no cell phone coverage most of the mountain road way to and fro. SO adaptor broke a few weeks ago. WHAT NO. So we had a spare right. NOPE IT must have been DEAD on arrival as it was dead now brandnew right out of box but albeit a decade plus later. So ok Ill get another and at the same time upgrade the Fuze to include blu-tooth. So in the end I ordered LED speakers, two different blue tooth adaptors for car and truck, two different bluetooth players for car and portable or not speakers. Now the adaptors and the speakers both accept thunbdrives too. And all his favorite music is loaded on the Fuze and he does not want to load up the Samsung S20+ with music at this time we still have yet to get through the learning curve on using a smart phone so...what are our alternatives here where much of the newer technology fields and options are not possible or supported. And not just here in rural MT we hear from rural populated states too from midwest to southern states. So ok...we know we do not want large capacity thumb drives the smaller is fine for his music choices. So ordered these though a tad expensive by comparison to some color coded kind the quality and reviews speak for themselves here. So ordered this pack along with a case that holds all 10 of them. Hubby can label them and know which music is what as a preloaded play list so to speak. Hes got options to just use the thumbdrive with the adapter and skip the MP3 players here or to use the players which also by the way accept SD cards and one also allows for a thumbdrive. Its been a bit of a circus here catching up on all these options but worth the effort put into the learning curve. I now can take one of the paired led speakers camping as I often go alone. However I do not usually take much of the noise of daily life at home with me camping as not only is quite nice I need to be alert to mother natures interests and world as will out there. I want to hear that porcupine snuffling up to my camp not to mention the bear or other wild life. I enjoy hearing two years now a pack of wolves far distances howling middle of night. And then there are the sneaky two footters that have in their own right proved scary a time or two so need to be able to HEAR my enviroment. So rarely use headphones or play noise producing devices. I used to take Great courses along to watch after it was too dark to read by natural light but after an experience with a pack rat literlly trying to break into my car where I happened to have my portable DVD player set up and getting out of car numerous times to try to rid the critter from rocking the car and scraping at its under side and tire wells I quit bringing the DVD player along too. As far as I know years later I did not bring him home as a hitch hiker as friends of ours said happened to them from a very near by campsite. The undercarriage and or my continious attempts to scare the critter off prevented that circus. So in the end yes we are happy with the thumbdrives by SunDisk. Recommend if they are the RIGHT SIZE for your purpose. They are for us. Could even be smaller as really you can still load more songs and categories onto this 8GB size storage drive than you could possibly listen too on any of our 2-6 hour drives about MT, ID, WA trips to the bigger city jonts. (Dr. appointments not just shopping and a lot less of either since Covid.) Stay safe everyone and make joy and make that your goal too. Music and humor helps.

17-04-2025It’s a good product for a good price but you need to be aware that there is adobe adware already pre-installed on the drive. My antivirus software, ClamXAV, isolated it
