> 3 dayWe bought 10 drives as spares until our custom flash drives arrived. It was a waste of money. I used to like SanDisk products and they were my go-to brand for quality products. These drives are cheaply made and flimsy. So far, three drives from the 10-pack have failed while in use. The computer says the drive was removed without ejecting, but its still installed. Its just no longer able to be recognized and is now unusable.

> 3 dayYoure gonna get ten USB drives, each in a little bag, in a cardboard envelope. The drives are no frills - no blinking LED, no protective cover. Does have optional software to password protect the contents. And a lanyard hole. Storage is cheap these days - 30 years ago 8GB would have cost like $160,000. Now you get it for less than $4.

20-11-2024This is the slowest flash drive I have seen in 20 years! They move data at 3.56MB per second. This means to move 8GB of data (its capacity) will take 45 minutes! I can move the same 8GB of data in about 2 minutes on a Sandisk Extreme Pro USB flash drive, writing at 400MB per second. These are basically running at USB 1 speeds. You couldnt give these away! Price is great if your time is worth nothing! Not even an LED to let you know if the device is active. Just putting these in the trash can. Not even worth sending back.

Greater than one weekPOS drives here - some had worked ok, now I have three that wont copy to/from anything reliably. I get the notice Drive is Write Protected - on a thumb drive?! Searched the internet and apparently its a known problem, with SanDisk stating there is no fix and that we should replace the drive. Waste of money - had similar things happen with another SanDisk product. Hours of wasted time trying to fix something new, that is defective and has NO FIX!!! SanDisk=JUNK!!
