On the Amazon website, many commenters thought it would had an LED, but some said it depends on where it was manufactured. The one I received does not have one. As far as im concerned, a flash drive without an indicator is worthless.

What immediately pops up when plugging it in are a confusing series of software files that you cant and shouldnt try to use. Just one is the log-on instruction material that you need. I finally found this file and in time figured out how to use the rather complicated features of the data addition process.
