Unfortunately when I installed it; only Right control responded, went to disassemble it, noticed there was a lot of paste in each quadrant

theres no protective layer for the bare shaft of the joystick. i wish it had one. otherwise the item overall is in excellent condition.

Joystick is great especially with a octagonal limiter, but the buttons are a bit weird for my taste but they have good build quality.

For a hobby, I was gutting an old MadCatz fightstick using this kit and a zero delay USB encoder for use with RetroPie- as the original encoder didnt work right on it. The install was a breeze and everything worked great and feels solid. The biggest adjustment for me will be getting used to how sensitive the buttons and stick are compared to the old ones.
