> 24 hourGreat solution if you want more than one smart plug as it doesnt cover up second plug on a typical 2 plug wall socket. Each device is individually controllable and there is a physical button for on/off for each plug so you can still control it manually if you are near the plug or dont want to grab your phone or talk to Siri. Excellent quality of materials and design. This is not cheaply made and the price is reasonable for getting two devices controlled.

> 24 hour12/27/19 I do not recommend this product. Trying to set up and both the HomeKit app and the Satechi app pop up with a message telling me I have to use WiFi or cellular data to add the product. Triple checked that I have data for both apps turned on and also checked that data is working. Still get that message. Beyond frustrated. (If the company wants to put out a quality product and works to have quality customer service, I will update if this fix the issue) Will return this product if the issue is not resolved. Edit on 1/1/2020: I purchased a new iPad and was able to get the outlet to work on this device, thank goodness as I did not want to return this product. I raised my rating from one star to three stars. My reasoning behind this rating, the outlet does not work on my iPhone X at all. If I had known this I may have gone with another product. The company needs to specify which devices this product work with and if WiFi is the only option, that this product will not work at all on cell data. I double checked and did not see any reference to not working on data.

> 24 hourPros: Fast on/off Cons: Manufacturers app is missing some logic. I can set different schedules for same outlet from iPad and iPhone and have now idea which it right one. Nether one see other schedule. Besides iPad app doesn’t have landscape mode so impossible to use if iPad is a Hub and attacked to the wall horizontally.

> 24 hourThis is the future of smart plugs. The system hosts two independently controllable plugs in a very small footprint. Why no one thought of this sooner is beyond me. I’m also very happy with the HomeKit compatibility.

> 24 hourThis was quite easy to set up. No issues. Integrated with Homekit easily. I havent done extensive testing on its power monitoring, but that feature is less important to me. It works as expected.

> 24 hourI was looking for a smart home plug to replace my second WeMo Insight that died (thats the second one in two years, so caveat emptor: WeMo Insights have a really short lifespan), and this one seemed like it might do the trick. Installation and set up in the app was quick and easy. It was also quick and easy to see that the only way you could find any information about power usage was to open the Satechi app. It doesnt even report in use/not in use status with Apple HomeKit the way the WeMo Insight does. So its obviously possible to have that functionality, but that might actually take some programming that goes above and beyond checking a feature list item. Why is it useful to know whether the switch is in use/not in use (which is not the same as on/off, its more like, drawing power/not drawing power). Its useful for reporting when appliances that are doing stuff for you have completed their chore. Like the clothes drier for example. Using the WeMo Insight, when the clothes drier completed its cycle, the WeMo app would send me a notification that the switch was no longer in use (not drawing power), so I knew the load had finished. Likewise, the Insight and the WeMo switches are supported on IFTTT, so I could run some automation integration with HomeKit, like playing a drier finished tone on my HomePods to alert me to the fact that the drier had stopped. Its too bad. The Satechi switch seems really well built, and heavy duty enough to last. But as often happens with hardware companies, they fail to recognize the potential value of taking the software to the next level of functionality. In their rush to get a well built hardware product into the world and start making sales, they deliver something run by software thats not truly useful to their target market. Then they end up having to turn that sale into a refund.

> 24 hourIts nice to have two independently controllable smart outlets in a relatively small package. (This product is wide but not tall, so it leaves either the top or bottom outlet free, on a standard 2-outlet receptacle.) Power usage isnt reported separately for each outlet, which, while typical for multi-outlet products, is still disappointing. Id like to know the power consumption of each device I plug in, not total power consumption for the pair. As other people have mentioned, network disconnections do occur, and this requires reconfiguring the product in the Satechi app (terrible) or in Apples Home app.
