Savic Sputnik Small Animal House

My rat Homeboy loves this little house! He hangs out in it all the time, builds a nest, etc. I like it because I can still see him in it, and he pokes his little head out to see whats up. It seems to be holding up well to a lot of use. (Sorry about the poops in the picture, what can I say, hes a rat!)

Love this!!! The large seems a little small for an extra large so I knocked a star. But my rats love!!! It’s perfect for summer cause it gives them a cool place to sleep and great for winter since you can put in a wash cloth. Rats do love peeing in them so keep in a washcloth or clean regularly so it doesn’t build up. Overall great! I recommend t size I got since it can hold two baby rats and I know once they are older (males) it will still be able to hold them, plus maybe even a couple more!!!

I hook this to the ceiling of my Critter Nation, close enough to the side that my rats can climb up the wall to get in. I put some fleece in there to make it more comfy, which they seem to like, they sleep in there a lot. Its easy to put on and take off, and easy to clean.

My rats won’t stay out of it! They love this piece and if your thinking about buying, don’t think just do it.

In a video I watched, someone said their pet Rats loved their Sputnik and so I ran to Amazon to see if I could hunt down this. After seeing the design, I thought there is no way that is comfortable for the rats. This is one of the best purchases Ive made for my rat babies. They absolutely always choose to sleep in here than any of the other places they can sleep in their cage. Get this for your ray, they will love it!

Was happy to find Amazon had a somewhat similar sputnik color combo that I had bought years ago from a British Store that no longer offered that color combo anymore. I have also bought other color sputnik in past so I was happy to find them on Amazon. I love these European Sputniks cause you can take them apart and mix up the colors that personlize the cage set up with other color schemes you have going on. I suggest buying a couple different colors cause then you can take them apart and swap colors together that match your color sheme you having going between cleaning. Pic with my three rats Bolt, Mousie, and Cat was one of the spuniks I had bought from England the second with just Shadow is the one I bought from Amazon and love just as much! My ratties love these and so do I !!!

5 stars for an item Ive always loved and like to think of it as a staple for rat lovers. 4 stars for giving a color I wasnt after 3 stars for giving the choice to select a color you want but still give a random color

This is always a favorite for any rat Ive brought home. Easy to clean, easy to hang, and they love it! Durable too, although my girls arent chewers. Its definitely a fave!

Both the girls nested in the smaller one I had when they were young. They became like a couple trying to get some covers at night. I had to buy the big one. Its the only thing Misti & Squeeks dont try to modify! Great value for the money.
