> 3 dayI am using this with a Raspberry Pi B+ with a 700-MHz ARM processor. It fits nicely in the case. To be on the safe side, I added a couple of heat sinks from the Addicore kit (see: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HPQGTI4), since I was enclosing the Raspberry Pi. I also added an HDMI to VGA converter (see: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZMV7RL2/) so I could more easily switch between my PC and the Pi via a KVM. I gave the whole thing to my daughter since she likes to program with SCRATCH. Its amazing that 4th graders are now learning programming (something I didnt start until I was a freshman in college). We also supply power to the Pi with a CanaKit 5V 2.5A micro USB power supply (see: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MARDJZ4). The Pi fits snugly in the case and everything is visible, no ports are blocked.

> 3 dayI have a centralized music server along with Qobuz Music Streaming. This device setup with Ropieee works ideal when coupled with an external DAC fed via USB. If you use it for high res audio, make sure you get a quality power supply.

Greater than one weekI didnt use the case with a Raspberry PI but a different size compatible board. The case was pretty easy to assemble, the board snaps into the bottom part with minimal pressure and attaching the top part was just a matter of aligning the ports and slightly pushing to snap it in (my board has an IR module that was a tight fit, Raspberry PI doesnt have that so its probably even easier to assemble the top part). The case stays together pretty well, I havent had any issues with neither the case parts nor the board coming lose, even after disassembling and reassembling it a few times. As a bonus the 12 rib vent holes on the back are close enough to 3x3cm that you can attach a 30mm fan there. I got this fan and it fits perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D3TVVC7/ (on the outside of the case, bolts from the inside and nuts on the outside, there isnt much space below the board in the case) The cables are just long enough to reach the pins on top.

Greater than one weekThe case is good quality and seems to be functionally well-designed. But there are three clips on two opposite side of the case. You are supposed to press the Pi board into them so that it can be secured. I spent some time figuring out how to put the Pi board through those clips without putting too much force on the circuit. Here is the way: you put the board into two clips on one side first, leaving the other side hanging out. Then you put the lid of the case on the board. Press and lid and try to snap the case into closed position. The case edges will put pressure on the board evenly and snap it into place. Done.

> 3 dayI was looking for a non-aluminum case that had proper wall mounting screw holes. IE the screw heads are protected and wont accidentally contact the board. Its pretty hard to discern that from the product descriptions. This is a simple plastic snap together case that has the cross type holes for wall mounting and there is plastic behind the holes. IE the screw head will contact plastic instead of the motherboard. Works great.

> 3 dayGood case and fits my Raspberry Pi B+. Love that it has wall mounts on the back and doesnt really require any screws to put together. All the ports are easily accessible and arent blocked at all. Havent used anything with the GPIO pins but seems to have more than a big enough opening to handle the connection. The one downfall of no screws is it can be a little hard to open the case if you need to add anything like heat sinks

06-06-2025Great for the Raspberry Pi B+, 2B or 3B, but not so great for the ASUS Tinker Board. The Tinker Board follows the same form factor as the Raspberry Pi3, so it was a surprize it didnt fit. I have 3 other Raspberry Pi cases that fit either. It seems the Tinker Board PCB is a tiny bit thicker, so it wont snap under the clips in this case. No problem for me, since I could swap it with one of my other cases, but if you are looking for a Tinker Board case, look elsewhere.

> 3 dayI am very happy that I purchased this case. I tried building my own basic case, but it turned out crappy so I decided to just buy one. I really wanted a clear case to be able to see the Pi through the case, and Ive been waiting a while for a good case to show up on Amazon, so when I saw this I decided to give it a shot. Combined with a Pi cobbler cable, this a must have for the Pi. Installation was a piece of cake - just snap the two pieces together and youre done! The case seems sturdy and protects the pi from getting damaged when working around it. The little embossed port labels above each port are a nice touch. No complaints.
