Greater than one weekI bought two of these monitors and so far NO PROBLEM AT ALL! They looks super nice and clean image. Image quality is awesome, refresh rate is great specially if you will play games up to 60hz. No dead pixels and no damage at all. The mount they have included is very sturdy and they are also compatible with other mounts. The only downside is the audio quality which is BAD but in my case it does not matter because I have external speakers and headphones. I believe this is a GREAT deal for the price and if you are looking for a budget monitor, this is the way to go. 100% recommended.

> 3 dayIve only had the monitor for a day but Im happy with the purchase. I initially tried to cancel the order but the seller had already shipped. I figured I would give it a try and send it back if it wasnt up to spec. Im coming from a 12 year old Samsung T260HD monitor that is 25.5 inches, 1920x1200 @60hz. This was top of the line at the time and paid $329 while this was one was only $109. The old monitor had screen tearing in games (no g-sync or freesync) and FPS play wasnt ideal, especially in COD Warzone. If youve never played on a higher refresh rate monitor before, it makes a difference. I tried overclocking the monitor to 85hz and then 80hz but neither took so I tried out the rated spec of 75hz with freesync and let me say.. I could notice the difference right away and even picked up my first Warzone Solo victory. Aiming was much more smooth and I could keep my reticle glued on other players. If youre using this for light gaming and youre coming from a 60hz panel, youll be pleasantly surprised. This appears to be a TN panel because the viewing angles are poor. Theyre completely fine when viewed straight ahead - since this is being used as a computer monitor, its not a problem for me but buyer beware. No dead pixels or edge bleeding to speak of. Blacks arent super dark but decent and the factory setting was ok as far as brightness and contrast was concerned. I configured to my liking and Im satisfied. The stand is wobbly as others have stated and I didnt even bother with speakers, nor should you. Im not expecting this thing to last but Im hoping to get 2-3 years out of it. I was looking to get a higher refresh rate monitor (144-165hz) but after doing research, you cant take advantage of the higher refresh rate unless your frames per second average is just as high (144+fps). With a Ryzen 5 2600 and an aging Rx 570, Im getting an average of 75fps in COD Warzone with the settings at high. In this case, the monitor is a perfect pairing for the 75hz refresh rate. In order to take advantage of the higher refresh rate you will need to open up your AMD or Nvidia software and create a profile that is set @75hz. Once this is created, go into display settings on your computer -> advanced settings -> monitor and then select the new 75hz profile from the drop down. Last, you will need to enable freesync from the monitor control panel (its in the menu options) and then enable it in the AMD software (not sure about Nvidia). If youre lucky, you may be able to overclock the monitor to a higher refresh rate. Just create a profile for 80 or 85hz, select it in display settings and see if it takes. If it doesnt, the monitor will revert back to the previous refresh rate in 10 seconds. From what Ive read, this doesnt harm your monitor and it depends on the manufacturer as to how far you can overclock it. Dont expect much from this panel, however. All-in-all, its an upgrade for me in just about every way. Some people say a 27 screen at 1080p for gaming isnt ideal. I beg to differ. The pixel density isnt superb by any means but I didnt notice any difference from a slightly smaller screen (25.5 vs 27) and less pixels (old monitor was 1920x1200). If I had to choose, Id take the extra real-estate over pixel density which I think only amounts to 6ppi. Theres pixel density calculators out there if youre curious. If you can afford it and your GPU/CPU can achieve 100+fps, I would go with a higher refresh rate monitor. For lower end specs, general use or a second monitor and for the low price, I dont see why not.

Greater than one week... and its still possible I might, if it fails. However, so far, this monitor is really surpassing my expectations. Its bright, its clear, its 1920x1080 at 75Hz. The speakers work; not loud, minimal bass. Kinda like an old 9 inch tv. If I want to damage my hearing, I put on the headphones at max volume. I did a dead pixel check. At one point I thought -there it IS! - but nope, it was a just tiny spec of dust on the screen that wiped right off. Within the next 29 days of the return period something might go wrong but so far for $109 + the state government grab, this is a great monitor. As an aside, the monitors default sound level is set at 50%, you might want to put it up to 100% and control the volume from your software since, of course, there is no remote control. Also, if you have an AMD graphics card with FreeSync this monitor claims to support it. It doesnt support nVidia G-Sync.

> 3 dayThe monitors themselves are great. No issues with the picture quality or set up. The built in speakers suck very badly, dont plan on using them for your main audio output.

> 3 dayI bought 3 of these, gave one as a gift to someone and am using 2 myself. Sceptre is an excellent value for the money. Impossible to find anything 27 for just over 100 dollars. The picture quality is fine - will need some fiddling around until you settle on the correct brightness and contrast for your use. I am playing around with the different User modes to see which one I like the most (trying the Eco mode now). The big downside is that the stand this monitor comes with is really cheap and flimsy. The stand comes with a setting that cannot be changed. One of my monitors is flat and straight, and the other is at an angle. I am investing in a dual monitor VESA mount. I should get that in a few days and I will mount both of these monitors and see how that works out... Overall, definitely recommend this monitor as a cheap, good option.

> 3 dayPros: Huge! Matte screen lots of inputs. Slim bezel, Mine came with a DVI to HDMI cable, no HDMI Cons: Buttons on the back. Power adapter is a wall-wart. Stand a bit wobbly My biggest issue with this monitor is the buttons being located on the back. If using multiple of these ( I have 2 side-by-side in landscape) the buttons are a pain in the ass to use. I use one as dual purpose for a PC and RPI. To switch inputs is an exercise in contortion if you use the left monitor as I do. I would have preferred them on the bottom edge but I have the feeling this was done so these screen could mounted in portrait with multiple monitors. If the buttons had be arrange horizontally instead of vertical this would be less of an issue. The power brick that comes with these monitors is the wall-wart kind where the plugs are on the brick. I would have liked to see a brick with a short pig tail like a laptop brick so less outlet space is taken up. the cable is plenty long enough however. The stand was super easy to attach and in the future I expect it to be just as easy to remove should I need to. However it is a bit wobbly at the point where the stand attaches to the monitor. Though I attribute that to it being such a large monitor and there will be some flex no matter what. It is by no means excessive. Some day I may buy monitor arm so its great that there is a vesa mount option. I so far I love these monitors. The brushed look and matte screen make them look very clean. For anyone concerned they would look very smart in a business setting. These are the first screens Ive bought brand new for personal use and I have no complaints. I use my PC for coding, 3D CAD, Wed surfing, movies/Youtube and some light gaming and everything looks great. They are supper bright. I may attempt to do a color calibrating but Overall Im happy with the current setting. I did change to the Movie setting with bluelight shift 30%

> 3 dayExcellent screen and presentation for your computer at a reasonable price. Very good picture quality without eye strain. The only drawback I found was they tinny and weak sound of the speakers. I deducted one star for that but you can always add your own speakers.

> 3 dayTwo year in with a pair of these hooked to a Mac mini. It has been an adventure. The Mac and these have intermittent issues. The monitor settings are hard to adjust. The price is right, dont forget that.

> 3 dayCan’t speak to gaming; picture quality seems pretty good so may work fine for that. However, i purchased two for work from home setup and letters in Outlook and Word lack clarity and its noticeable and i tried many adjustments, including sharpness (which has only 0, 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% vs 0-100 for all other adjustments.. This is not totally unexpected due to size vs resolution, but what makes it much less tolerable is after one day each monitor has a dead pixel. I guess these arent bad for the price point, but understand these aren’t going to be perfect, especially if used for work. Update: changed rating from 3 stars to 4 because on one monitor the dead pixels were actually stuck and by rubbing the screen I was able to unstick them. On the other monitor, I was within the 30 day window for Amazon and they exchanged it for me. Thank you Amazon! Hopefully no new pixels will get stuck or go dead.....
