07-06-2025I bought this monitor to connect to a 4 port HDMI KVM switch that also connects the computer audio via the HDMI. Using the internal speakers was unacceptable so I plugged in a set of powered speakers to the headphone jack and that worked. For video, the quality is good except there is about a 1/2 gap between the display and the bezel, meaning that the displayable part of the screen is about an inch smaller than the physical screen, almost like the display was built for a case with a larger bezel then the bezel size was reduced. For the price, Id say it was a good deal for use in my computer lab.

> 3 dayIve been playing on a lower frame rate monitor before this one. It took me about to 3wks to get use to how smooth the picture is an adjust my play. GOOD QUALITY HERE.... Put it in B-tier.

> 3 dayI use this monitor to mix my audio tracks, it’s bigger than I expected but I’m not upset about that. The video quality is great as well!

Greater than one weekGreat monitors. I purchased two for my new standing desk for my home office. The color is rich, the brightness great, and it came with a few surprise features. I knew about the speakers, and honestly they are kind of lame, but its a nice touch to have when you dont feel like plugging in your headphones. At the moment I have two desktop PCs, one for work, and one for home life. These monitors come with three connections. 2 HDMI & 1 VGA, which you have have connected all the time, and just switch between them as needed. So, when Im done with work, I just simply switch to HDMI2 on both monitors and Im ready to go with my home computer. Pretty nice feature Im glad they incorporated. Great Price too!

> 3 dayI use it for work. We have some old janky computer that would turn on super slow instead of blinking on. Had it for several months and no complaints other than the screen getting all fuzzy after blanking out on rare rare occasions. It happens so rarely it’s not an issue because turning the screen off and on fixes it. Again it’s a work computer so it hasn’t been used for gaming. I have a very nice speced out gaming monitor at home.

> 3 dayExcellent product for the price. Nice build. My only issues: I have it set up on a standing desk - tends to shake a little bit when I raise the desk up. I think thats more a result of my not-perfectly-level apartment floor. Im not a gamer, but Im using this monitor for heavy photo/graphic/video editing. Very strong display, great for all of my work. ONE LAST THING: Hadnt seen anybody else mention it in a review, so I felt like I should - I was hoping to run audio from computer HDMI to monitor HDMI speakers, but then have my external speakers plugged into the Auxillary port on the monitor. Sadly, the volume levels were very poor when wired this way, so instead Im running my speakers RCA>3.5mm straight into my computer. Not a huge problem, but thought anybody out there should know in case they were hoping for a similar setup.

Greater than one weekExtremely bright and vibrant. Had to immediately go into picture settings and set to manual to reduce the bright whites and backlight, but this screen is capable of really great brightness. I got this for my dad and he is in a very light-controlled room so it was a bit overwhelming at stock setting, but this would be great for environments with lots of ambient light. Once adjusted, this looks great and its a keeper. I like the near-edgeless display as well. Highly recommended. I have always had great experiences with Sceptre products. Ignore reviews here that say this monitor is dim. I am not sure what monitor they are looking at, because that is certainly not the experience I had at all! Super bright and vibrant...
