SCHMETZ Universal (130/705 H) Household Sewing Machine Needles - Bulk - Size 80/12

Schmetz needles in the packages of 5 are pricey and I run out at inopportune times. I was happy to find this box of 100, which means I can keep a sharp needle in the machine as stitches are noticeably more uniform with a fresh needle.

Fabulous price - its the perfect to buy needles - a pack will last me for a couple years and Im an avid quilter!!! Thanks!

Buying in bulk is so much less expensive. These 80/12 needles work fine in all of my sewing machines.

Disappointed that the needles do not hold their sharpness. After sewing some quilt pieces together, the needle began to make that dull sound when going through normal cotton fabric (you know that sound the needle makes when you need to change your needle.) Ive always used nothing by Schmetz needles and thought this would save me some money; but if the needles only stay sharp for 1/5 the time the single package needles do, then this is costing me more than buying the single packages which are much easier to deal with and are easy to dispense. I find having 100 needles laying together in an approximately 1 x 2 box makes it very difficult to just pick up one needle at a time. I guess its back to purchasing them at the store which cost a little more, but last at least five time longer.

I have always purchased this particular brand of needles and Ive been seeing for 20 plus years. I love them and they work great. I just wish the price was more reasonable. That is the only reason for 4 stars.

Have been using this brand and size for my sewing and. Embroidery machine. This will be my second batch of 100 needles.

It is so nice to not need to run to the fabric store for another needle. There are 100 needles of the right size in my sewing supply drawer! I have set a system where each 8 (or so) hours of sewing I change the needle. It is better for my sewing, It is better for my machine, It is MUCH better for my patience. I highly recommend Schmetz. I highly recommend having more than a few sewing needles of the right size available all the time. I sew on a Singer. It likes Schmetz too.

Super pleased with this purchase. I was stuck without needles after running through a ton of them in a short period of time. Now I dont have to worry about it. They are working great so far in my Brother machine for piecing. I did count the box, and there were a 100 needles.

The needles are perfect. Just as described.
