SCHMETZ Universal (130/705 H) Household Sewing Machine Needles - Bulk - Size 80/12

Great needles, great price. Second time Ive ordered these and will be buying them again in the very near future.

Schmetz needles in the packages of 5 are pricey and I run out at inopportune times. I was happy to find this box of 100, which means I can keep a sharp needle in the machine as stitches are noticeably more uniform with a fresh needle.

I use these for my Janome and Singer sewing machines. They work well in both, and seem to perform equally well with woven and knit fabric. I dont remember to change my needle as often as I should, but I always have a box of these needles handy. Ive only had one break when I hit a pin, and theyre always sharp coming out of the box.

It is so nice to not need to run to the fabric store for another needle. There are 100 needles of the right size in my sewing supply drawer! I have set a system where each 8 (or so) hours of sewing I change the needle. It is better for my sewing, It is better for my machine, It is MUCH better for my patience. I highly recommend Schmetz. I highly recommend having more than a few sewing needles of the right size available all the time. I sew on a Singer. It likes Schmetz too.

What can I say? Schmetz needles are the best. Buying in bulk is the only way that I buy 80 needles. It took about 10 years to use the first box and this should last as long.

I have always preferred Schmetz needles and I love always having a supply. I do a lot of quilting and its great knowing I wont have to go to the store in the middle of a project.

Schmetz is a great needle and this really was a bargain for the money! I will have needles for years!
