SCHMETZ Universal (130/705 H) Household Sewing Machine Needles - Bulk - Size 90/14

Shipping was awful! Case was all broke up!

These needles popped up in my search for Schmetz Microtex needles. They are the same size and much cheaper so I thought I was getting a great deal. That is till they arrived and I saw they were just household needles. I should have paid closer attention I guess, they really should be listed in a search specifying Microtex because the Microtex are extra sharp and these are not.

I have used these needles for decades and never thought of buying them in bulk. They store easily and and the best needle for quilt piecing or garment sewing. Stop paying too much for needles! Buy them. I have Bernita machines.

These are my favorite sewing needles and Im so glad I can finally buy them in bulk instead of only a few at a time in fabric stores. It is SO much more economical to buy them this way, and less plastic waste! I tried the Organ needles and found that they were causing my machines to skip stitches so I went back to old, reliable Schmetz and have not had any problems since.
