Greater than one weekIve been buying lots of types of hair ties for my daughters long, very curly hair. Weve been looking for something thick enough to contain it but that wont pull and break her hair. These are not the droids were looking for. They definitely pull. My hair is straight and Ive tried them and they hurt when removed. My hair seems to get rolled up in the silicone, for some reason, and I get several strands all wrapped around the thing. So far, our go-to for the long and curly hair are the spiral silicone doohickies. Theyre time-consuming to get situated but they dont hurt like these.

> 3 dayJust what I needed to hold my long Sisterlocks. These bands do not pull your hair out like others I love them.

> 3 dayThese are my favorite! I used to buy these from a Walmart but they just suddenly disappeared off the face of the earth! They are a lot easier in my hair even though it may pull hair but not as bad and the rubber or elastic style!

> 3 dayOnly hair ties my girls and I can use that will stay in our fine, soft hair. They can get tangled in our hair if not careful removing but not much different than normal hair ties.

> 3 dayI didnt like these as hairbands for myself. They did not slip in or out of my hair easily and instead pulled my hair. Ouch! However, I just bought four more packs for my cats. They prefer chasing these hairbands over the regular fabric hairbands. These have bounce and a bit of wiggle, and you can get a good roll out of them if you fling them just right. Only drawback is that they feel like spaghetti, so I have to get them away from the catsies if they start chewing on them.

> 3 dayLove this product, have a little girl with thick hair, these work great. I have been using these since she was about 3-4 and she is now 12. Waist length hair that is silky. The cloth ponytail holders just don’t cut it. One works great for a braid, have to use 2-3 if putting in high ponytail.

> 3 dayim a POC with shoulder length dreadlocks and i love these, i can put 1 in my hair and not have to twist it around my hair, i literally just put it on once-- no loops!! i love the colors and i wish i could buy these from the store. they dont stretch out which is why i love them. i used to use them when i had a huge afro too. thick hair women should know the struggle of stretching out a hair band after the first use--- these are perfect, they snap after a lot of use, but its usually once a year i gotta buy a new pack due to them breaking.
