I’ve always had ongoing water quality issues with my tank as I’ve made the common mistake of not waiting for the nitrogen cycle to take place, on top of buying fish all at once. I’ve spent tons of money on API QuickStart, AmmoLock, StressZyme, StressCoat, etc. API makes great products, but AmmoLock for example, binds ammonia into a non-toxic state, but still reads positive on the API Freshwater Master test kit. Which is fine because my little guys seem pretty happy and not stressed out. At the end of the day, that’s what hobbyists want, is for their creatures that are in the tank (against their own will and with the ability to do absolutely nothing about bad water quality except suffer!).

Of all the similar products on the market this one is the best.

If you have water and a tank you absolutely need Prime. It is the only water conditioner I have ever used and my Fish all live long healthy lives. Any Seachem product is worth the money. We also use Stability and love it.

I have used prime before and it worked great but this hasnt been doing anything for my tank. I tested it against my tap water, and there was basically no difference. Bought a new bottle of the prime from a local pet store and it worked wonders. very frustrated and disapointed.

Prime is fantastic. It doubles as a dechlorinator as well as a livestock saver. Since it can detoxify all 3 nitrogenous compounds, its great for emergency ammonia treatment or a 7 day superspeed tank cycle with Stability.
