This s the only products I trust in my fish tank. Ive been using it for years, Amazon def has it cheaper them Petco or PetSmart. Most buy for your freshwater plants helps keep them flourishing.

Results might be microscopic because after using it for bout a year I see no visual difference between the tanks I use the product on vs tanks I didnt use the product.

I think this was the key nutrient my plants lacked. I thought they were getting enough from the fish but no, a big tank and micro fish needs a little bit supplementation.

I use Co2 injection and have a heavily planted tank. I have checked with 2 different products and it shows I have trouble keeping nitrates in my tank. Even with all my fish in my 55G, My plants absorb nitrates so much that I have to add some with this twice a week. Half cap each time.

This product does provide nitrogen to the aquarium but be aware its not super potent: Its 1% Nitrogen - 0% Phosphorous - 2% Potassium. The actual chemical content of this is potassium nitrate and iminium salt (urea). Im of the plant keeping school that says: test your water then add back the deficient nutrients as opposed to the estimative index school (but thats a debate for another forum). To hit 10ppm of nitrogen in a 55 gallon aquarium you need about 10.4ml of this product. Id suggest you look into using dry chemical potassium nitrate. It really is cheaper, easier to work with, and does the same thing (without the name brand label & price) I bought this, but blew right though it in no time because of the low concentration. I say 4 stars out of 5 because it is pretty expensive for how little nutrient youre getting.

This is perfect for me. I have a low tec heavily planted 55 gallon. I dont have the experience or money to run a co2 setup but I wanted to give my plants a boost. This stuff was made for me. Its working very well! My plants are growing like crazy.

Nitrogen is one of the main three macro nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium: npk) required by plants and can often become the limiting factor to growth in a flourishing system. Flourish nitrogen is a concentrated (15, 000 mg/L) blend of nitrogen sources. It provides nitrogen in both the nitrate form and the preferred ammonium form. However, no free ammonia is released because the ammonium in flourish nitrogen is complexed and unavailable until utilized by the plants. Ammonium becomes available after conversion of urea (carbamide). flourish nitrogen also provides nitrate for those plants that can readily utilize nitrate as well. For Maximum benefit, use with flourish Phosphorus and flourish Potassium. Flourish nitrogen is safe for invertebrates such as shrimp.
