Seachem Prime Fresh and Saltwater Conditioner - Chemical Remover and Detoxifier 500 ml

I was a bit shy about trusting this stuff at first. It had SO many reviews that were stand out stories from other sites and here.. that I finally tested it.

My favorite conditioner, hands down. I like ordering it on amazon because it is a much better deal than in big box stores

The instructions are easy and it clears up the water of Chlorine.

I once threw off the nitrogen cycle in one of my tanks when I treated it with some medication. I didnt realize this until I tested the water right before a partial water change and saw that my ammonia readings were off the chart. I increased the % of water changed and added Seachem Prime according to the directions on the bottle. I continued to test my water daily and was doing partial water changes with Prime every 1-2 days. The ammonia finally dropped, but then my nitrites flew off the charts. I continued the routine of water changes with Prime, sometimes adding extra (per instructed on the bottle). The cycle finally completed and not a single fish died. As a matter of fact, not a single fish ever acted distressed or sick in any way. I honestly dont think those fish would have made it without this product.

I have been in the hobby for nearly 40 years. Ive tried many products but until I was talked into trying by some of my fellow enthusiasts I had no idea what a great product this is. I use a Python to perform water changes and due to having four large aquariums pre conditioning water to add back is not an option. With Prime I can immediately add tap water with no ill effects on my fish. Since I live in an area with very hard water, and highly chlorinated, I do double the recommended dosage. Even doing this I save a lot of money compared to other leading brands as Prime is highly concentrated and it takes a lot less dosage to equal the dosage from cheaper brands that wont treat as much water.

It works great. My fish have lived for a long time. I highly recommend this to everyone who has a fish tank.

Prime works like a charm. Smells but does go away quickly. No fish has ever died in my tank from ammonia or nitrite. Helped me out when having level issues and while stability kicked in. Love seachem products

I always use this on my 75 gallon tank when I do water changes. Last week I forgot to add it and when I looked at the tank 5 minutes later, half of my fish were laying on the bottom, almost dead form the high chlorine in my tap water. I immediately dosed the tank and within 5 minutes, they were back to normal and looking for food. I won’t ever buy a different product. Prime is unbelievable!
