It’s great easy to hook up and format. Allowed me to break out games I had to delete due to lack of space.

The PS4 cant take advantage of high speed drives anyway, so the focus with external (or internal) replacements is reliability and capacity. This drive has offered both so far, and in a slick case that matches the PS4 aesthetic. The speed is good as well. If you dont care about appearance, you might just go with a similar Seagate external drive without the branding. This one came formatted and ready to use. I would prefer a type-C connector on the drive, but it doesnt really make a difference other than being reversible and easier to find.

Gone are the days of having to delete games! This was so easy to install, its a boon! Definitely extends the life of my PS4 and the installation and set up for use is well outlined in the included documentation and happens within minutes. The instruction is to have it a few inches away from the PS4 but the cable is not that long anyway. The only negative is that it is small and doesnt look very durable. Find a secure place for it and pretty much leave it alone, I think.

Nice product but speed is less. Otherwise good product. It depends on your choice. Need speed than go for SSD otherwise this is good product.
